Justwise why not delete everything that has to do with his posts starting from his first comment on my post since it wasn't directed to him and I don't need his opinion.

You deleted my posts and some of his, leaving some of his posts that i find offensive. Please kindly remove everything if you are not backing him up.

I have been on this platform for a while and i have learned so much from peoples experiences in their visa interviews.
I had mine today and my visa was approved.

Below is my Transcript

****

*We said good morning to each other*
VO: Pass me your passport and I20 please
Me: "OK". *I pass both to him*
VO: What course are you going to study in the US?
ME: I will be studying Information Systems and Management
VO: Why do you want to study this course?
ME: I have an avid interest in tech and a strong tech background. I also have a degree in Physics and I currently work as a telecoms Engineer. I am working on building a career as a systems analyst and this course will be relevant to my career path. ( I actually prepared something more comprehensive to say but everything was just jumbled up in my head).
VO: How long is your program?
Me: The program is for 21 months. I should graduate by May 2020
VO: Who will be sponsoring you?
ME: My Aunt. I also have some personal savings which I intend to invest in my education (my I20 shows both my aunt and myself as sponsors)
VO: What does your aunt do? (I dint hear him quite well at first so i asked him to please repeat).
ME: She is the COO of ***** and she owns a couple of Gas fill plants in Lagos
VO: *Nods head*

*I even received a housing scholarship but i forgot to mention that* What tension can cause.

VO: Are you married?
ME: No im not married
VO: Do you have any children?
Me: No I dont
VO: Types some things into his computer and says "I will be approving your visa, you will be contacted with 2 to 3 business days to pick up your passport (He circles the location on the white paper)

I came out feeling like I was walking on air.
I expected many more questions or even request for statement but he didn't ask for any thing else.
I wish everyone the best
Congratulations Dear...

Wish you all the best in US.

Abeg, you fit pack me with your load..? grin

first, If your WES evaluated transcript falls on 2.50+/4.0, you are good to go in some safe schools whose minimum CGPA requirement is 2.5/4.0

with a good GRE score of 300+ and a good statement of purpose and a solid reference, you can get some funding as well.

your primary job now is to hit google and search.

"top schools in USA with minimum CGPA of 2.5 for grad school"
" top schools in USA offering (my course)"
" top schools in USA offering grants / assistance-ship for ( my profile)"

you will surely get many schools.
next step is to start sending mails to the coordinator of the programs, tell them your profile and ask if you are fit for application/ admission so as to save yourself from wasting application fees and GRE/WES report fees.

also, check out the schools ranking on
https://www.collegeconsensus.com and usnews.com to filter your choices.

for scholarship and grants, you can check out external body like fastweb

i got a $2k essay scholarship last year from them but end up not using it as i had issues with my transcript.

do more researches, work hard
Wow... Thanks a lot sir. You've been really helpful. I'll do as advised. I might quote you as I progress with my application. Cheers smiley

Continue "bolding", when you're serious about travelling...you'll make a decision.
You've flooded all the US-related threads with the same question...you better apply fast before the stop giving visa...#mtcheww
Flooded..? Because I posted this here and on the US visit visa thread? That's flooding? You need deliverance!

BTW, the last part of your comment shows you have no idea what you're talking about, you just wanna make some noise. Because I don't know who told you they are giving visa. I was at the Lagos Consulate last week and Blue papers were flying around and you're here saying, apply fast before they stop giving visa like they've been giving visa at all like they used to.?

I know why I'm asking and If you don't have any suggestion or idea, just park to one side so that those that have something to say will be chanced to, because Oyinbo saiy mine your own business. THAINK YOU!

Hi Blowjobs, DoggieStyle is greeting you. cheesy

Congratulations Bro. You're really smart.!

Please, I am interested in getting a Non-immigrant visa to the United States. Lately, there have been a lot of rejection. Thus, I've made up my mind that I'm applying for the NIV just twice, if the first goes through, Amazing..! If not, I'll try one last time.

The two NIV I want to apply for is the B1/B2 and F1 visa type. Now, the issue is which one should I apply for at first..? In case, I get denied the first time, which one should I go with for the first attempt so that the second attempt won't be seen as having immigration intent.?

Note that, the B1/B2 means I'll spend little money cuz my cousin is in the States and I'll be with him till I sort myself, without doing anything illegal. I have solid plans.

The F1 on the other part means I'll spend more money since I'll most likely be in a different state from his.. Though, I'll be more flexible with the opportunities that come with F1.

So kindly put this into consideration while advising. Please kindly advice. Thanks and God Bless.

This is the same as asking, "between DJ Cuppy and Bobrisky, who should I marry."
They are far different, the Note part shows all the difference. BTW, the main idea or question is probably what you didn't get. I'll bold it in the quote below.

First of all, thanks for dropping your suggestions. But if you don't have any reasonable advice, please kindly move on to the next one.

To the main...

I am interested in getting a Non-immigrant visa to the United States. Lately, there have been a lot of rejections and to go to USA isn't by force for real.

Hello all,

Well done on the thread. You've been really helpful.

Please, I need advice and help on one or two things.

First, I graduated from a Nigerian University last year with a CGPa of 2.6 (BSc Mathematics, Second class lower). I Wasn't really serious due to the fact that I wasnt really passionate about the course cuz I was admitted for a course I didn't apply for and also, I was hustling while studying then since I pay my bills and fees all alone.

Now, I want to study in the USA but I'm thinking of going into another field, thus putting in for undergraduate studies, which means I'll write SAT and use my olevel result which isn't too good, got 2.55/4.00 or so when I converted it to the US system using the WES conversion. If I apply for undergraduates, should I mention that I have a degree already or I shouldn't ? Hope it's not gonna have any effect? Please explain. Also can I get funding? Full or partial? With the Stated

On the other hand, should I just use my degree to secure a MSC admission.? How possible and likely is it for me to get funding with my BSC result, after writing GRE.? My BSC is about 2.7/4 when I converted to the US format though not very sure I got it right.

Note::: I have interest and passion in Computer, IT, telecoms etc related courses which my BSC mathematics can still work with if I decide to go for masters, while I'll be looking into Nursing, Biochem, Lab related courses if I'm going for another undergraduate.

Please Advice accordingly. Thanks a lot to you all.
