Good Afternoon All, I want to know how much it costs to replace a 1.5 kvA inverter without the batteries, My Sinergy inverter that I bought from Rehoboth-Idealtec had its board damaged twice by our 2.5KVA generator. Can I replace it with an inverter from another model and What model will you suggest. |

@imag5, Please I am serious about building a career in NDT, like I said earlier, I have certifications but minimal experience. Judging from your wealth of experience, can you please link me up with NDT companies I can intern or train with or send me some of your contact links. My email address is dolapomichael@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks as usual |

There is only so much you can learn in 5 days so I will honestly say I do not have a mastery of UT yet. For a Zero probe the tranfer correction is established by placing the probe on the calibration block and adjusting the gain until you get a backwall signal amplitude of 80 to 100% of the screen. The gain for this reading is noted. The process is repeated on the test piece at similar thickness. The gain difference is your transfer correction. Transfer correction is done to compensate for differences such as surface finish, material composition on the test piece. I do not know how to plot a DAC curve as of now but I hope you can help me with internship opportunities to hone these skills. I have only used a UT machine for 3 days. I hope this does not affect working with you. Thanks for your contribution so far imag5: |

Hello Imag 5, I just obtained L2 certs in MPI and UT and I am actually positive about building a career in Assets Integrity but the challenge for me now is acquiring experience in Inspections. I have sent mails to countless Inspection services company yet no response. I am quite aware that this sector is actually based on a lot of recommendations and networking for newbies like me. Kindly advise me on the way to go. Thanks imag5: |
