Jimmy Donaldson popular known as MrBeast is currently the highest-paid Youtuber in the world with an earning of $54m (£39m). MrBeast who is regarded as “Youtube’s biggest philanthropist” has 85.6million subscribers and over 10 billion views.

His videos feature attention-grabbing stunts where he donates large amounts of money to people or hosting competitions in games, such as Minecraft, for big money prizes which includes donating a house in one of his gaming videos.

MrBeast joined Youtube in 2012, originally uploading videos of video game playthroughs and net worth estimates of fellow YouTubers. However, he went viral in January 2017 in a video where he counted to 100,000 in about 40 hours.

He began his donations when he started getting sponsorships from companies, such as Quid. He started giving money away to whoever he could: the homeless, Twitch streamers, family, friends, and followers. At one point, he walked around his city handing out $1,000 to multiple homeless people in the area. As his popularity grows, so does the amount of money Donaldson gives away.

This week, five Big Brother Naija 2021 Shine Ya Eye housemates are up for possible eviction this week, vote for them below.

Just like BBNaija week 7 nomination, the Head of House and veto Power privileges still come into play. The housemate who comes first and emerges winner of the Head of House Challenge will automatically be immune from possible eviction and the housemate who takes second place will become the veto power holder and will be expected to perform a save and replace.

With just 11 housemates left in the big brother’s house, the race to winning the grand prize of N90million is now getting tougher. Cristiano Ronaldo, the goalkeepers’ nightmare did not waste any time getting to work at Manchester United as he returned to the club’s Carrington headquarters on Tuesday.

The Portugal star and his young family only landed in Manchester on Thursday evening, but Ronaldo reported for training at the first opportunity after isolating for five days at a seven-bedroom house in Cheshire.

The reappointed registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede has revealed that a total of 1,456 candidates who scored 300 and above out of the possible score of 400 in the 2020 UTME were unable to secure admission.

He made this known at the 2021 admission policy meeting where he disclosed that only 3,492 out of the 4,948 applicants who scored 300 and above have gained admissions into higher institutions.

According to a report by [url=rnn.ng/jamb-2019-679-candidates-scored-above-300-but-not-offered-admission-see-reasons]rnn.ng[/url], there is a significant increase as compared to 2019 UTME where 679 students who scored 300 and above were not offered admission.

Giving reasons why candidates who scored high marks were not offered admission, Oloyede highlighted wrong O’level subject combination; low post-UTME screening score; wrong UTME subject combination, and failure to accept admission offer.

He further stated that some candidates are denied admission due to multiple applications, failure to register or absence from post-UTME screening, mismatch of catchment institutions, and failure to upload O’level to JAMB portal or Post UTME Screening Portal.

Interestingly, 1,085 of the 1,456 candidates who scored 300 and above but were denied admission applied to study Medicine.

However, JAMB faulted that the reason some of them were denied admission was that they failed to include Mathematics in their UTME subject combination.

Meanwhile, JAMB revealed that only about 551,553 candidates have been offered admissions out of the 925,762 quotas that were allocated for admissions for the 2020/21 academic session. There is hope that the figure would increase before the end of the 2020 admission process on October 29.

Nigerian actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has slammed the controversial social media commentator and former minister, Reno Omokri.

RNN reports that the former minister took to social media to mock Nigerian celebrities who celebrate buying used cars.
