Let's try and be thinking critically before passing judgement. What if the hospital is not equipped to give her the much needed care, what should they have done? Where did the woman register for antenatal, why didn't her husband take her there when she started having seizures? She had low blood volume and eclampsia, two very critically serious conditions in pregnant women which are easily detected during regular antenatal checkups. The shameless husband should tell us where she did her antenatal.

What if the hospital is not equipped to handle such emergency? What should they have done? The hospital had released a statement that they never requested for any money from them. The woman never registered with them neither did she or her husband supply them with any information concerning her antenatal treatment. They examined her and saw that her blood volume was very low and they could not get any blood within short time. They had to refer them to the nearest general hospital without requesting for a kobo from them. What else should the hospital have done? The man should show us her antenatal card.

Why did they have to barge into an hospital they've never been to if she had been previously registered somewhere else? His wife was working 3 jobs yet couldn't get adequate care during her pregnancy, speaks volumes about the kind of husband he is!
