Na France born full that Comoros national team. They will soon become a football powerhouse by the time more skilled players who couldn't make the french NT start to turn up.
Percentage of foreign born Nigerian players would have increased if the likes of Roost Ekong, Ola Aina, Maduka Okoye and Cyril Dressers had played in this year's tournament.
Big accolades to the likes of Egypt, Zambia and South Africa and for keeping it 100% home born and bred. That shows how low the japa mentality is in those countries

To each his own but no one should be tying their happiness or worth to any human being. Husband is good but having one or not should not define who you are, Princess Dami needs to understand this. The husband she married briefly out of desperation fled the marriage when he saw that she was not as rich as he expected and there was nothing to milk off her. Now she's out again broadcasting her desperation to the world and another hungry vulture will jump in to try and take advantage of her. Right now that her popularity with Nigerian men is at an all time low after exposing that pedophile Baba Ijesha, this is the wrongest time to be announcing that she's looking for husband. |

Negroid001: What I know is madrid is playing as a team without Mbappe Mbappe is like an energy vampire in that team, sucks off all the shine from the team making himself the only shining star. Now that he's out injured, Rodrygo that have not scored in ages started scoring, same goes to Garcia and Vinicius jr. I'm sure if he was in this match, Barcelona would be leading by at least 4 goals to 2 with him scoring the 2 goals. Real Madrid will never achieve anything tangible apart from Mbappe ballon d'or finalist as long as Mbappe remains in the team. |

Bukola94: smh, Merino really deserves the captain hand band, he doing well in midfield and assisting the attack Merino can't be captain if big Gabi is in the team. They have a leadership hierarchy; Odegaard->Saka->Rice->Gabriel Magalhaes->Merino in that order Arsenal goal no. 3, Martinelli nets in his 2nd goal of the match |

Sports › Werder Bremen Announce Victor Boniface Season-Ending Surgery by dominique(mod): 11:00am On Jan 11*. Modified: 1:07pm On Jan 11 |
Werder Bremen have announced that Victor Boniface will miss the remainder of the season after deciding to undergo surgery on a knee injury, bringing an early end to a difficult loan spell for the forward, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
In a statement published on the club’s website on Saturday, Werder Bremen confirmed that Boniface will be unavailable for the coming months after opting for an operation following medical consultations in Austria.
“Forward Victor Boniface will be unavailable to Werder Bremen for the coming months after deciding to undergo surgery on his injured knee,” the statement read.
“The 25-year-old is scheduled to have the operation on Saturday, 10 January, in Innsbruck, where he will be treated by knee specialist Prof. Dr. Christian Fink. The decision follows a detailed examination carried out on Friday.”
The club added that after discussions in Austria, Boniface agreed to proceed with surgery, and Prof. Fink’s recommendation was consistent with the assessments of the medical teams at both Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen, who were all involved in the consultation process.
Commenting on the development, Werder Bremen’s head of professional football, Peter Niemeyer, said the decision provided clarity for all parties involved. He explained that, based on the expected rehabilitation timeline, the club no longer anticipates Boniface returning to action this season.
“We are pleased that we have now found a solution and that Victor will undergo surgery,” Niemeyer said.
“This gives clarity to everyone involved. Due to the rehabilitation process, we no longer expect Victor to feature for Werder again this season.”
Despite his long-term absence, Bremen confirmed that the existing loan agreement with Leverkusen will remain in place until the end of the campaign, meaning Boniface will see out his contract with the River Islanders until June 30, 2026.
The injury setback brings a frustrating campaign to a close for the Nigerian forward, who struggled to make a significant impact during his limited time on the pitch.
Boniface made 11 appearances for Bremen in the Bundesliga, starting only twice, with an average of 30 minutes per game and a total of 325 minutes played across all competitions.
He ends the season without a goal, despite recording an expected goals figure of 1.08, highlighting missed opportunities during brief outings.
Boniface averaged 1.5 shots per game, with 0.5 on target, but failed to convert any of his chances, finishing with a goal conversion rate of zero per cent.
While goals proved elusive, the striker contributed creatively, registering two assists and an expected assists value of 0.61. He also created two big chances and averaged 0.6 key passes per game, which reflected flashes of attacking involvement despite limited playing time.
Boniface’s season-ending surgery leaves Werder Bremen short of attacking options as they enter the final months of the campaign, while the player now faces a lengthy rehabilitation process ahead of the new season. https://punchng.com/bremen-announce-boniface-season-ending-surgery/
