Professor Dozie is the outgoing Vice-Chancellor of K.O. Mbadiwe University (KOMU) Ideato, Imo State. He brings a wealth of academic and administrative experience, having previously served FUTO in several key capacities, including as Dean, School of Health Technology; Member of FUTO's 11th Governing Council, and Director, Linkages and Advancement; among other notable positions.

His appointment marks a new chapter in the leadership of the University as he prepares to assume office on June 19, 2026, succeeding Professor Oti. The University community looks forward to his leadership and continued advancement of FUTO’s vision of academic excellence, innovation, and service.
