Someone who was schemed out from the selection process is telling you that obi is powerless in nominating candidates to be screened by Dickson's committee.

This revelation also proves that there was no primaries in NDC and that it was all down to both Dickson and Kwankwasso selecting their preferred candidates to contest all positions .

Obi and his obidients remind me of Zik and his Zikists..

Both had no control of their fanatical supporters but unlike Obi, Zik always , used every opportunity to denounce and distance himself from the Zikists.

It was Zik who first used the phrase "headless mob" to describe the Zikists after one of their members, was arrested in a failed attempt to assassinate the British Governor-General.

At first , the Zikists were a Pan southern Nigerian movement composed of all southern tribes just as our obidients began who were united in the struggle for independence and who saw Zik as the inheritor of the Herbert Macaulay NCNC.

But eventually, the movement began sieving itself of its diverse ethnic background following independence with the main focus being a struggle towards nationalism among the several nationalities that were forced into a union.

The Yoruba Zikists began aligning to Awo's pragmatic Yoruba nationalism while the southern minorities began asserting their own unique identity over Ibo domineering ethnic supremacy. The obidients who were left , were all Ibo Marxists who saw Nigeria as theirs to dominate under a Bolshevik Soviet Union model.

So it's no surprise that the once Pan African Ibo Zikists all embraced Ojukwu's Biafra and it's goal to annex and dominate all of southern Nigeria.

The Ibo Zikists were disappointed with Zik after he denounced Biafra .

Note that Zik was in full support of Biafra from the get go but only switched sides when Biafra lost the entire SS.

Zik knew that what was left of the now only ibo territories of Biafra was not sustainable .

Zik had earlier warned Ibo majority in Enugu not to consider any talk of granting the minority people in Eastern Nigeria any referendum stating further that if that should occur, what is left of the Eastern region will become the poorest region in Nigeria

This is why Zik was in total support of Ojukwu declaring Biafra on the heels of Gowon creating states for the minority people .

So when Biafran troops where chased out of the entire present day SS, Zik returned back to being pro One Nigeria and began begging Gowon not to end the war but to continue it and liberate what was left of Eastern region from Ojukwu's tyranny and return Ibos back to Nigeria.

The die hard ibo Zikists saw this as a betrayal by Zik even though they themselves knew it was all a lost cause to still continue fighting for what was left of Biafra since the land could not sustain their population and they had become a landlocked country surrounded by hostile enemies.

So when Zik decided to run for Presidency in 1979, what was left of the die hard ibo Zikists were the ones who openly campaigned against Zik.

Even among majority Ibos today , Zik isn't viewed in a favourable light because of how he denounced Biafra even though most are happy he did.

I see such a scenario playing out with Obi as his desperation for what is above him is driving him closer and closer to the sworn enemies of the Ibos -the Hausa Fulani north.

Just yesterday Obi issued a statement calling for the end of stereotyping all fulanis as bandits.

While most Ibos did not openly condemn obi for romancing the enemy, they had great reservations over any sympathy shown by obi towards the Fulani.

To show how Ibo vendetta and bile never ends, when Obi congratulated Gowon on his birthday, a barrage of insults by his own Ibo people flooded his X page. Obi had to apologise to his followers that he extending felicitation to Gowon on his birthday did not amount to him absolving Gowon of any wrong he did the Ibo people

Well, from now on, it's all downhill and crash and burn between Obi and his Ibo Obidients after Obi sold them out in exchange fir a free ticket

I am looking forward to Obidients finally giving Obi a dose of their toxic insults.

I keep advising to develop your critical thinking yet you never listen. Oil and gas must be utilised well but human resources that can create solutions defines life.

Anyone still unintelligently shouting oil and gas is simply at a rudimentary level of understanding what life is about.

I have always supported ND get more from their oil and gas because I know the rest of Nigeria must regain the discipline and focus that made our definitive political leaders of old achieve so much before oil and gas wealth arrived.

With Cocoa wealth, Awolowo did so much to the extent modern day politicians should hang their head in shame.

Oil and gas wealth has been a curse to us and it is only your sort who do not understand that. We must try and return to a time Nigerians tried to be innovative and create solutions from what everyone has instead of the entire nation focusing on oil and gas wealth.

We created a mono-economy around crude oil. That's the main reason Nigeria is messed up today.

You all claim to have uni degrees and even Masters. How difficult is it for you all to understand we need to create a brain economy instead of you all focusing on and bragging about mineral endowment alone?

The quality and solutions-provision capacity of human resources is what matters most per the capacity of a nation to become rich and developed.

He is not from the SS but an ibo who still holds on to their colonial mindset that SS is still part of Eastern Nigeria.

The SE have always been against resource control and up till 1999, SE have collected fat more from oil distribution than the SS based on the population based distribution.

It's also on record that SS legislators staged a walkout over Obasanjo's 25% derivative to oil producing states..

Wabara even stated plainly that "it won't be beneficial to my people".

It was when Yaradua agreed to 13% that SE politicians began lobbying Jonathan to grant oil mining license to marginal oil fields in Anambra, Imo and Abia.

Even at that, their production levels combined is not even up to what Ondo produces .

Forget that guy .

He will claim Delta North today and tomorrow Ikwere but looks at his handle and tell me who from these areas will support that nonsense ESN.

Some great points. All developed nations have energy transition plans some felt they could reach by 2030 in their search for less reliance on fossil fuel.

Including the UK I've lived most of my life in. Yet, they have had to push dates forwards decades towards 2050 because the world is economically depressed and has not recovered from the devastation of COVID. This is a reality leaders are not confessing to.

They all con their people to win election but folks who dig beyond the surface know the world is in trouble.

I personally don't believe total phase out of fossil fuel, for green energy, can be achieved in less than 35 to 40 years from now.

In fact, I believe Nigeria will become significantly more important to the world because of our oil and gas endowment if we can be disciplined and focused securing best deals from a world becoming more protectionist and adversarial. Meaning oil and gas are becoming practically the most important commodities.

Even Trump's recent hijack of Maduro and Venezuela confirms that.

The US-Iran war demonstrated the fragility of the world's non-petrol energy insecurity.

If I may add , at the heart of the demonization of crude are:

1. Retiring of the Petro-Dollar in the midst of dwindling Gulf oil reserves that would have seen Russia become the dominant oil producer with is huge and vastly untapped oil reserves . The west knows Russia will not agree to the same Petrol dollar but will want to use their new found dominance to promote their own currency instead.

2. Russia becomes the dominant crude oil supplier to both Europe and Asia.

If the Jews and Anglos cant get their unfair slice of the pie , they will ensure there is no pie in the first place.

Obi did not collect a dime from any aspirant in the NDC to secure them a nomination slot for Dickson's selection committee.

Because, Obi had since relinquished any right to nominate anyone for nomination in exchange for a free ticket.

Kwankwaso got exclusive franchise of 60:40 ratio up north, while Dickson was in total control of southern candidates and the FCT.

The arrangement was that Obidients will repeat their blind Top-to-bottom voting pattern that saw LP secure lower elective positions for state and federal legislatures that will be fully Dickson and Kwankwasso loyalists.

Obi agreed to these terms in exchange for a DOA free ticket.

That's the raw deal that Obi agreed to for a free ticket which threw his obidient followers under the bus .

Even Aisha got a rude shock when Dickson Committee refused her demands for a primary election for the Abuja Senatorial bid.

Aisha began doing activist before Dickson's committee but they asked her if they sold any form to her . That's when she knew she had been played.

To console herself, she said she will focus on getting Obi elected so as to repeat the heist of campaign funds she and her co crooks in the obidient movement did under labour party.

But Dickson is ahead of them by ten steps and he read the riot act on them that all campaign funds and contributions will be controlled by him and not the obidient movement.

Right now, there's no reason for Aisha to still be in either the NDC or the obidient movement as there is nothing for her in both.

I see Aisha slowly withdrawing from both NDC and obidient movement.

And unlike the shameless ken, she will swallow her loss and retreat to the background to return to her regular cashtivist hustle.

Vast share of daily crude production is not used as an energy source.

Rather it is used in developing synthetic resins that are used from everything from pharmaceuticals, industrial solvents , plastic derivatives like what 70% of your phone you are holding is made out of.

Once palm oil was used as an energy source to power steam engines as an alternative coal and as fuel to burn oil lamps in homes and street lightning across Europe. Palm oil was in high demand but it's cost spiked higher when electricity replaced oil lamps and diesel replaced it as engine fuel.

Despite it's relegation , palm oil is today more expensive than it was when it was used as an energy source despite production output today ten times more than it was when it was a major international trading commodity.

TBTB, have realized that crude oil is too valuable as a resource to be used as cheap fuel and that's why they are searching for alternative to crude oil in transportation.

You can't even dream of producing an EV car without crude derivatives.

I supported Obi last election. Spent my money, fought on social media notwithstanding I'm not in Nigeria, I mobilized people to vote for him.
After the elections we all saw the permutation that was needed to win votes...and how the pendulum swing favors more of the northern region in terms of massive voters count.
After the court case, we urged him to align with Atiku irrespective of the outcome in 2027. The campaign for 2027 started immediately after the court cases and within that period, he visited Atiku in line with the coalition we all agreed on and people were happy when they both posted their first picture online. APC became jittery.
It's so unfortunate that his Obident mob deceived him to confront Atiku for the post in ADC. This was a clearly thoughtful plan that a combination of Atiku's votes in the North and Obi's votes in the SE & SS will dwarf that of Tinubu's APC.
No Igbo man will get a DIRECT shot at the Presidency of this country and win.
This is what Kenneth Okonkwo was trying to let Obi know and the Elites amongst them but we were blinded by emotional marginalisation. We have to go through someone and that person will put us there. A strong opponent for that job is Atiku but unfortunately Obi irrational thinking has set Igbos back by another 14yrs. This is his last opportunity, and another hopless ambition for him is in 2031 if he decides SHAMELESSLY to be a VP to Kwankwanso in 2031.

So it's all down to getting an Ibo presidency.

Thanks for clarifying what we already knew from the get go.
