concho:What of the parents whose wards attend the school she falsely claimed was under terrorist attack? Do you know the stress and panic levels she caused those parents whose kids are in that school? What of the school's reputation ? Do you even know that such fake news can trigger parents whose children are not even attending that school to rush to their respective schools to pick them up , thereby causing more widespread panic and confusion? Do you know that in such highly stressful scenario, some parents may get high BP and die? What of wasting the meagre resources and time of security respondents who will rush to the school? Guy make Una dey try get sense small. |
AllBlack:In another thread regarding her arrest, the OP posted her pic Nah one old cargo hag for that matter pushing 50 if not more |
Nword22:You will eventually learn the hard way that the British created Eastern Nigeria is dead and forever buried. |
Nword22:Thank you very much for clarifying my post above Dear Nairalanders , shey Una see what I have been posting here on why these people are the only ones against this project and that the major reason being that they consider the entire SS coastline as their territory. One day your eye go clear . |
frog12:Just me against the world baby. Now why will the Indian police lie ? |
ceejay80s:Relax. The news was lifted from an Indian publication. Maybe they got the spelling wrong during their police parade of the couple . But come to think of it, no one on this thread said they are Ibos. So why the para,? |
ceejay80s:You don't say.

AdaOwerri1:Background, origin and meaning of Ogbenna: Ogbenna is a name of Igbo origin, a prominent ethnic group in Nigeria. The name is a compound of "Ogb-" and "enna." "Ogb-" is a prefix often signifying "one who possesses" or "one who is associated with." "Enna" translates to "father" or "elder." Therefore, Ogbenna can be interpreted as "father's companion," "one who is like a father," or "father's representative." It often carries connotations of respect, leadership, and responsibility within a family or community. Associated names might include Ogbonna. Several notable individuals bear the name Ogbenna. Chief Ogbenna was a respected elder and community leader in his village, known for his wisdom and fairness in resolving disputes. His legacy is remembered through the peace and prosperity he fostered. In the realm of sports, Ogbenna Nnaji is a former professional basketball player who played in various leagues, contributing to the development of the sport in his region. garykoeman:Don't ua know that drugs keeps dah yeast from starving . |
Streetinvestor2:You guys are just envious and bitter that the SS is benefiting from this project and at the same time getting closer both physically and politically with the SW. Coastal road is bad but second Niger bridge that was built entirely from SS oil revenue is good. To show how selfish you guys are, you are now claiming the second Niger bridge as yours despite Delta state having more share in that project. To even think that Ohaneze had the nerve to demand from the FG to have the second Niger bridge named after Ojukwu who blew up the very first Niger Bridge shows how selfish and insensitive you guys are. I think it's time to name that bridge after Murtal Mohammed or Adekunke . So that anytime you drive on it, you will be reminded of your civil war butthurt loss. |
Zionmdde:Bitter soul. |
gidgiddy:You have come again with your Upper-Iweaka pseudo intellectual revisionist nonsense. Well, this your version of the origins of Biafra is still better than other Ibo pseudo intellectuals who claimed it was coined from two Ibo words : Bia and Fra in a bid to claim the waters and entire coastal areas along the bight as Ibo territory. FYI, the word Biafra originated from the name given to the adjacent Atlantic ocean. The original name being Bight of Mafra and it was coined by Portuguese slavers who had a rallying port off the coast of Cameroun which they named after a Portuguese city, Mafra. On early Portuguese maps, it was shortened to Bi.Mafra just as island will be written on maps in shorthand as Isle . Over the years, these waters came to be known as Biafra ! Your entire perspective on history is flawed. |
At that time naira to dollar was around #1 to $1.50. #1,000 then was equivalent to $1,500. Adjusting for inflation , $1,500 is equivalent to $4,921.46 in today's money. At current FX rates, that will be equivalent today to roughly #6,000,000. This is based on FX conversion. For the real value, let's see what #1,000 in 1983 is worth today. For starters , that money could is just shy of buying you a brand new Volkswagen which in today's money would go for #25,000,000. You could build a very descent bungalow with that money and feed a family of four very comfortably . Rent in places like VI was less than #500 annually for a good spacious 3 bedroom flat, which in today's money you can't get for nothing less than 10-15 million. |
jaxxy:My friend your agenda is the same exact thing with that of the fulani . The fact you even cheer on the ongoing genocide and population displacement of Palestinians exposes your intentions. What of the latest IPUB lobby calling in Trump to come and create your Biafra with the entire SS annexed to it? You think we are fools ? |
jaxxy:So we should forget the madness of your war generation which you all want to restart again? And whose Yoruba ? |
You just joined NL and so far you have succeeded in making everyone here know that they should avoid your senseless topics . Congrats .
|
SEGLIZ:They will invade your entire village and pack all of them to sambisa . |
jaxxy:Or all of a sudden history is no longer palatable to you guys that have spent the last 10ys dishing out your lies. Well, we will not forget your own atrocities which you are all hell bent on repeating. Even looking at the madness that the likes of Gentile de Yahoo unleashed on his own people in Orsu and Okigwe should give you an insight on how evil and barbaric your Biafran agitators are. If they can commit the most atrocious acts on their own people, what will then do on us in the SS? That's why it is very important to never forget what your people did because it gives us a glimpse into what you are planning to restart. |
Someone tell this idiotes he will never EVER be President. |
Irony1:In researching for my book, I spoke to a lot of former Biafran soldiers, and they spoke about what they were told to do in minority lands. It was a mess. Biafra was a terrorist state, especially in minority land," the author emphasised. The interview was conducted by an African news network . The author is listed as a New York best selling author. You can read his interview here which was published by Sahara reporters. https://www.nairaland.com/7452485/minorities-nigeria-greatest-victims-biafra |

Irony1:Pathetic response. Was it not Ojukwu that Ironsi gave the order to deal with Adaka Boro's NDVF and secessionist movement from Nigeria ? You talk as if it wasn't Ojukwu that used a every dirty trick in the book to force Adaka to surrender to him from where Adaka was driven in the back boot of a car stark n@ked to Lagos and brought before a judge who summarily sentenced him to death for treason. |
Irony1:Ibo civilians were walking around with an unusual chip on their shoulder when Ojukwu declared Biafra with all the coastal provinces that Gowon had created states for. An ibo man will barg into the compounds of his minority neighbour and start o harvest plantains and bananas. When confronted by the owners, he will boastfully and arrogantly say : This is Biafra. Ibo civilians will direct their fellow ibo Biafran soldiers to homes of their minority neighbours to exert revenge for whatever nonsense grudge the Ibo man held against his host and neighbour. The situation escalated so badly in places like Benin that immediately the Biafran soldiers were chased away by Murtala's advancing army, the people of Benin staged a mini pogrom targeting Ibos in their midst. The then Governor of Midwest, Ogbemudia who founded an underground resistance militia during the brief occupation of MW and who will later eplace Ejoor had to issue a military order threatening to shoot at sight anyone harassing Ibo civilians . At this period most Midwest Ibos had ran away from both Benin and Asaba and had crossed into Biafra territory. Those who lost their homes to the mini pogrom were compensated by Ogbemudia who called on civil servants to contribute what they had to rehabilitate the Ibo Midwesterners that were caught up in the mini pogrom that erupted in Benin. Now why will the non Ibo Midwesterners who were once very sympathetic to Ibos and had offered food and money to Ibo refugees fleeing the north and western region on their way to the East suddenly turn and despise the Ibo population in their midst? Unlike in Benue and Lokoja, Ibo refugees fleeing the pogroms in the north were never attacked by the indigenes at Benin . Instead they were provided with refreshments, food, water and words of consolation. All that changed with the invasion of the Midwest and the highly undisciplined Biafran soldiers who went about harassing the very people who were sympathetic to them in Nigeria . Ibo civilians used the emergence of Biafran troops to show their true colours by using their soldiers to extort and harass their hosts and neighbours . This is why till this day, the average SS person can never trust an ibo man.. This is also why, after the war, the only place left for you guys to migrate to was the SW to which you have shown them your true colours . If the average Yoruba man was aware of the atrocities you guys committed on the SS people , I highly doubt if they would have allowed you guys to settle in their midst. |
Probably the boy's father paid the teacher to get hair and nail samples from his son so as to carry out a DNA test to confirm if the child is his. From what I can see , she is a single mother probably milking her supposed baby father dry . Guy man just wanted to confirm if he is paying all that child support to his own child. |
jaxxy:Keep harping on Oyo kidnapping . We will not for any reason forget what your grandparents did to SS minority people. |
Big shame
