Pharmacy is not always very competitive. Your UTME score is also very high, just target 70 in Post-JAMB and you'll be on merit list.

D date hasn't been fixed, when it's fixed you shall all know. just target 71 in Post-JAMB and you'll be on merit list.

F/Maths is not compulsory to study geophysics but Geography is. Lagosian with 2-3 marks below merit cut-off are always considered (the catchment thing)!

With your UTME above you have 29.1, thus will need as high as 93.8 to meet up last year cut-off of 76. Why not consider change of course? If you need past questions keep in touch.

With 213, that is 27, u need 90 and 80 in Post-Jamb to attain last year cut-off of 72 & 67 for Accounting & Banking and Finance respectively. So fire on with reading now.

For those of u that had come to UNILAG either to see me or otherwise, u must have seen my article pasted at the senate building advising the school authority not to allow candidates go through the 'hell' they went through last year just to buy Post-Jamb form. I'm of the opinion all banks across the nation(and not only the banks in UNILAG) should be allow to sell the form for ease & accessibility. So the BIG QUESTIONS [/b]for those on this thread who apply to UNILAG last year and did not get admission is; what anomaly do u think should be corrected this year? State it here with genuine reason & yours' sincerely will bring it to the school Adm notice to reference to here.

As I always state, everybody that have 200 in UTME has got great chances, just ace your Post-Jamb.
Using last year cut-off of 61(which might not be the case for this year)your focus should be to score 66 and you're on merit list. Recently, they seems to be relative competition in Marine science, but with the introduction of fisheries as a separate department the competition has reduced. Plus, Marine science is the most friendly dept. in the faculty of Science with understanding lecturers (by my judgement).

PG school is starting exams next week, after that, the sales of form will commence (ending of April/Early May- no specific date yet). For the last five years, it had always been sold for 12k exclusive of bank charge.

Do you mind stating his CGPA here and if he intends pursuing Econs at PG level. Why? you might ask, 2.1 has type and UNILAG is crazily concern about one's CGPA and Econs is quite competitive. Not to deter him though, but knowing this will help map out strategies to claim his place. Our Nation is survival of the fittest.

Since Biochemistry cut-off for last year was 67, u'll be working at attaining 83 in Post-Jamb. You can try changing to PHYSIOLOGY or Radiography. If u get 2 enter school, u've got 2 work hard 2 realized your dream of converting 2 Medicine. Is not about dreaming, many do, but when they get 2 school, they bask in the Euphoria of having admission forgetting their great plans.

Last year cut-off for Civil Eng. was 69 & Building 62. Civil Eng. markedly had d highest number of applicants in Eng. last year. By your score above, u already have approximately 29. Thus, u need a Post-UTME score of 80 & 66 for Civil Eng. & building respectively. UNILAG offer Building,not Building Tech. If u don't mind change 2 d later.

Donshegxy_10: Evening guys, Just want you guys to know that before you change your course you must consider the following .
1. The utme general performance is very low, as you are changing so many people too are changing thereby making the so called competitive courses less competitive .
2. If you belong to catchment or from educational less develop states you have a bit advantage over others.
3. I can assure you that those less competitive courses will have some of the highest cutoff mark this yr e.g educational courses e.t.c. Think about this before changing your course, Prompt Preparation Prevent Poor Performance. Good luck.

If you follow this thread, after checking your UTME result, if you score 200 and above and you stay close to UNILAG and willing to put out fourteen (14) days for intensive post-JAMB clinic (tutorials) for FREE. Just indicate here with a YES, plz don't write anything else. This is an idea in conception so the numbers of interested people will determine it fruition or the opposite.

Just ace post-Jamb.64(though it was not made public being a new course then)was used as the cut-off.

You can't do anything in UNILAG with that JAMB score. Try to follow your polytechnic choice. Plz, don't be fed up, they certainly will be light at the end of the tunnel, and by then as they'll say it will become history. Keep your head up!

Going by last year cut-off of 68 for computer Science. You now have 32 already, so you need to score 72 in Post-Jamb. Your chances are high even if you don't meet up the cut-off (not a yardstick not to do your beat and best though)being a northerner. You guys don't like school!

I wouldn't advice you back out since you're sure you can score 70 in post-JAMB, plus I have checked 138 students result and hadn't seen 260 yet. In fact, i just saw 165 now. The general performance is low this year.

In fact, while doing reference letter for students last year, I discovered someone with 218 in UTME got admission for Estate Management on merit, while a lady with 300 in UTME was 'help' to an education course. Post-Jamb counts a lot. And @bodman4us, Edu. Adm. is the Medicine and Law of faculty of Education, I hope you understand what i mean.
