Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Charles Soludo has stated that the 2016 budget presented by President Muhammadu Buhari was almost the same as the one presented by his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan.

According to Soludo, the present budget was a carbon copy of the one by Jonathan’s government, adding that defeating old bad ideas could be better that initiating new ones.

He said this while speaking at the 13th Daily Trust Dialogue in Abuja on Thursday.


“The present budget is more of the same to the previous ones. Mr. Vice President [Prof. Yemi Osinbajo], If you scale your budget on the scale of GDP, it is almost the same with the previous government.

“It has a historic 37% deficit as we never had it before. The truth is that you are borrowing 37% with only 30 per cent on capital project,” Prof. Soludo stressed.

So how did ur first attempt turn out?

You will need fresh Tomatoes, fresh pepper, curry, onion,garlic, thyme, season cubes, salt and a tablespoon of grounded crayfish(optional, my stew taste better with it) oil and your meat .
Directions:
Boil and season your beef, chicken or fish with salt, onions, garlic and season cube, pls check taste to make sure it's not salty and cook until tender.
Blend ur Tomatoes, pepper, if it's big, dry it first by pouring it in a pot and allow the excess water to dry up don't allow it get burnt and do not turn.
Put oil and cook for 2 mins, then stir, add your curry, thyme, crayfish, cook for 3 mins, pour in ur stock with the meat inside and cook for 4 mins, check for salt and taste and adjust to ur taste.

I'mma teach you tho, dude style. The way I did it back in school.

Ingredients:

Rodo -100 naira
Tomato - 300 naira
Tatase - 100 naira
Maggi
Salt
Onions
Palm Oil
Fish (Preferably Titus) or Meat

Directions

Ground your Tomato, rodo, tatase and onions from the millers in the market.

Get a clean pot and put it on your stove make sure all the water in the pot dries out entirely...
Pour you palm oil and leave it until it is extremely hot (you should know this when the hot starts bringing up smoke)
Pour the already milled pepper into the pot and let it cook for a minimum of 30 mins (time varies with the quantity of the pot's content).
Add your maggi and salt (be careful not to over spice it)
Add your fish (fried or boiled as preferred by you)
Cover and allow to stew for about 7 mins for fried fish and 14 mins for boiled fish.
