Amen o.. Should I send a mail to them? if they can disclose the outcome, so I'll know if I should start getting ready to travel on Sunday. Monday is my resumption deadline ICaSNg: So hopefully it was approved then. You should get it by Saturday |
Travel › Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by donbreeezy(m): 1:50pm On Jan 29, 2020 |
Yes I sent a return bag and my passport. It would have been nice to know the outcome already so I can start to prepare before its arrival as Monday is my resumption deadline. Can I send a mail to ask for the outcome? ICaSNg: Yes, 90% of the time they will tell you it has been approved. But if dispatched as at when you called then they may not state if refused or approved.
Did you send a return courier bag with your appeal? |

Any appeal news? If the VISA is approved will the Embassy tell me? Cos I called this morning and they just told me my docs have been sent out. So scared now |

Hello guys.. My appeal is still with the embassy and my final resumption deadline is next Monday 3rd Feb. The school (DBS) has another session for April.. If I request for an updated offer letter for April and send it to the embassy, will it work? Or I'll have to withdraw the appeal and submit a fresh application because of the new date.
Anyone with such experience? |

Hi people, anyone received update on appeals? I told the embassy I have a final resumption deadline for 3rd of February and the lady (confidently) said no problem, my docs will be looked at. Maybe that's what they'll keep saying till the deadline and they just trying to calm me down.
I can't even withdraw my appeal cos the 5 year ban (due to a mixup from them) will remain on the letter I have. |

This is the end of the road.. cos my parcel got to Abuja today. ICaSNg: Quick update !!! Based on an email received from the Visa office in Abuja, if you are refused for January, I won't advise you appeal unless your school can attest to following up on the appeal in time for your resumption in January. The visa office issued update that appeal will now take 3-4 months.
Am shocked and this is totally ridiculous- Unfortunately the Universities have little or no influence on this. Its quite sad and SILLY. |

ICaSNg, Chiggsglover, Abuhusna1 and others, thank you very much. The 5 Yr ban has been rescinded and they have asked me to officially submit an appeal. I contacted the UKVI and the Irish embassy.. they concluded there was a mix up with dates and I truly had just one refusal in March. |

Thank you very much.. I will try to look for a lawyer in Ireland as soon as possible Chibabe4Christ: This is pathetic.. .. so sorry my brother! I will suggest you use an immigration lawyer from Ireland to file your case.. they will give more attention than when you write to them. am sure it will come out positive.

Thank you very much.. I called the Abuja embassy on Thursday and they told me if I am sure I didn't apply or get a refusal on that date, I should write a letter and send it to them through email, so the VO that handled my application will be contacted for a review. I will call them on Monday for update abuhusna1: If you didn't apply then you have a good case but you can't do it yourself get an immigration lawyer help you out the will overturn then ban and probably get ve you your visa moreso the lawyer needs to talk to UK immigration to know why they put in another refusal in your file when you applied only once please don't give up |

Or can I go to the British High Commission in Ikoyi to complain may be I can get a faster response ICaSNg: You need facts to fight this, 1st thing to do is
Defer your admission offer ,
request for your Visa application record / history from ukvi (Google ukvi compliant)
Then send an appeal to the Irish embassy
Sorry you have to go through this. |

I had a UK visit refusal in March (21/3/2019) and I submitted the letter (this was acknowledged by the VO), then he went further to say I didn't declare my recent refusal in September (21/9/2019) and because I only declared 1 instead of 2 refusals, its deception. Meanwhile I've only been refused once and that's March, since then I didn't apply for any other visa until November 28 for Ireland ICaSNg: Am shocked. Have you ever applied to the UK before?
There may be a mix up in the dates and purpose due to new staff in training (I guess at the embassy), however, have you had any refusal or even at least applied to the UK or any other country before?
|

What can I do ICaSNg? The VO just lied against me or there is a mixup somewhere donbreeezy: Guys this is crazy o...
I got refused without the right to appeal. In fact with 5 years ban
They (falsely) accused me of not presenting the refusal of a business visa to the UK on 21/9/2019.
I never applied, not to talk of getting a refusal from the UK in September.
I didn't apply for any UK visa in September this year o!!
What should I do please? This is ridiculous.. |
