Good afternoon all. Pls I'll be traveling soon, is it compulsory I have euros with me when boarding. Heard the immigration officers will ask me to declare the cash with me at the airport If yes, pls like how much is OK to hold. Will 30-50 euros be OK? Thanks |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Dwebb55: 2:52pm On Jan 24, 2020 |
Amiablekeezy: I doubt if that will be adequate. Even if you have funds over there in the form of an education bond, you won't get access to it immediately you get there and it might take you several days if not weeks to have access to it so you need funds to spend in the foreseeable future. However, if you have funds in your card(domicilary) you might be asked to show proof of that. |

Hello guys.. My appeal is still with the embassy and my final resumption deadline is next Monday 3rd Feb. The school (DBS) has another session for April.. If I request for an updated offer letter for April and send it to the embassy, will it work? Or I'll have to withdraw the appeal and submit a fresh application because of the new date. Anyone with such experience? |

Man, hold around 500€ as cash if you have because you can’t access your bond immediately you get here. You need money to buy foods and transport yourself Amiablekeezy: |

Amiablekeezy: Hi Amiablekeezy, It's advisable that you hold a reasonable amount of money as some people in the past were asked at the Point of entry to declare the amount with them. |
