Did you opt for free pickup or paid delivery? Someone in Lagos had interview 1st week in March and picked up passport free at DHL Muri Okunola 1st week in Apr.

No worries just check for the passport pick up with OIS and you see the outcome of the application.

Checking passport pickup on OIS website indicates the passport is not ready for pickup, which appears strange for an interview that took place on February 27. The passport is needed for a trip in about 3 weeks and I’d appreciate if anyone has/can share insights on how I can retrieve the passport.

You should get an email from OIS. I got an email 2 days after issue. You will have the option to pick up from OIS or DHL. DHL is free. OIS is not.

Thank you for the information. Although, I have asked on the other thread, did you pay another visa fee? If not, what did you do to the initial interview appointment? Also, did you change the passport number on the newly created profile?

Was he able to get the IW Appointment after this?

Hello Everyone, I wanted to check again if anyone has been able to successfully make payment for the AOS fee in the last few months. I have been trying since September to no avail.

Hello, I don’t think you can change it to interview waiver at this point. My friend had this issue and had to just pay again. I think a lot of people are having this same issue which is from the *annotation* my friend picked empty and that directed him to physical appointment. Subsequently (after making another payment) he picked waiver and he got the interview waiver appointment.

This might not be 100% correct. I did the scheduling for my parents and selected empty to the *annotation* question for both of them. While I got the IW appointment letter for one of my parents, I got the Visa interview letter for the other.

I don't know much about this new system but from what I've read, it is separate account. You can also check on the embassy website. There should be a guidline on visa application process.

Only go to the OIS on the day of your AVITS appointment date , you can book OIS on same date but they don’t really ask for the OIS appointment but on the AVITS, they currently have a list everyday based on the people who booked appointment on AVITS website

So update for dropbox/IW people...
The OIS people has switched back..to only honoring the aviits date, after being turned back at dhl office 2 weeks ago...i booked another appointment for dropoff on ois site, but on getting there...they said the ois and aviits date must match..and i was turned back.

Now on aviits website..it appears they are treating all appointments as the same,..not separating dropbox and consulate interview...tried rescheduling my dropbox appointment..only january 2025 dates are available...
This is mind boggling and quite ridiculous.
In this Tpain regime..wasting over 300k in flights for ordinary dropoff and still being turned back is really heart breaking

During the dhl days, for dropbox, one could simply waltz into dhl office at anytime to dropoff documents.

Other than that, the ois office is cool, no crowd..one can be tru in 30mins.

Can you shed more light of the statement “the ois and aviits date must match”, please? I need help understanding if another scheduling is required after scheduling an IW Dropbox appointment on the AVITS website for any of the Lagos and Abuja locations. Thank you.

One more question, please. On the previous scheduling system, it was possible to add several applicants under a single account. Is that same in the new (AVITS) system or do I have to create a separate account for my other parent?

Drop off is in person. One person can drop for both.

Very frustrating error message. What worked for me was making sure the email entered on the form matched the email on record with the bank. However my sister faced the same issue just a few weeks later. I don't think there's a solution other than to keep trying at random hours. NVC were no help at all.

Hello, I have been having issues paying the AOS fee after getting my welcome email for the F3 category. Error message is: “There are one or more errors with your submission. Please correct the areas indicated below. Once completed, click the Make Payment button to continue: An error occurred while submitting your payment. Please try again later.”

Did anyone experience this, and how did you get around it?

My guess is that you can ignore the TRV since you already have PPR for PR.

I'm surprised IRCC did not already cancel the TRV when they approved your PR app. About biometrics for TRV, you would only be exempt if you had done biometrics before for a TRV (visit or work visa) as well as PR but not PR only: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

Hello All, I had 2 applications running concurrently (FSW and Visitors Visa). After getting PPR for my FSW and sending my passport in late March, I got a request for the payment of biometrics fee for my Visitors Visa which will expire in a few days. I did biometrics in 2020 for my FSW application which they claim has expired and cannot be used for my visitor’s visa application.

At this point, Is it ok to cancel my visitors visa application instead of making the biometrics payment and wait for the return of my passport?
