That was what i thought today
Until i got to the training center and names where pasted on the door of each class room.
If you didn't see your name there then you are on your own
If you got their message you will definitely see your name there
But if you didn't get the message still go there and you might find your name on the list pasted. That is exactly what happened to me today

Whether you applied online or offline, I will advice that everyone should ensure that they deactivate DND (Do Not Disturb) service on their phone. This is because INEC would likely contact those who have been shortlisted using bulk sms service. When you have DND service activated on your phone, you will not receive any message that was broadcast using bulk messaging system.

To deactivate,
send the word STOP in an sms to 2442.

This applies all Nigerian telecom operators.

I was invited for the training on 23rd for Spo. Only for us to get to the venue at GSS Garki Abuja, none of the inec officials came. Not long enough we started hearing that the training is on going in another location. This time around they called fresh set of people and gave them the new location and told them not to disclose it. When we got to the new location, we noticed there was a new list of persons different from the ones they sent a message earlier. The inec officials was like they are sorry for the inconveniences that is a new order from management to use their staff only. It wasn't a cool experience at all.

There's always shortage of staffs, roughly 70% of Corp members shortlisted for the exercise will show up creating lacuna. This is how it works, all Corp members in each states of the federation whether he/she applied or not will be shortlisted many of which will not show up for the exercise, just come for the training as long as u r qualified, u will surely be picked.

Message will be sent to successfully candidates 5days b4 the training commenced. However, if u are not selected, just go to the training centre as long as u r qualified, tell the Inec instructor u wanna join in the training process, many Corp members will not show up, ur name will be subtituted for one of them.

All this online application things are wash. Just go directly for the training and write the test, if you pass you'll get it.
