A boy who attends one of the rural primary/community schools in Luapula Province of Zambia, has been trapped in a tree cleft while he was playing.

A Facebook user identified as Andrew Mwansa, who posted the incident, wrote;

Wonders Shall Never End!!!

According to a wats app message, the boy belongs to one of the rural primary/community schools in Luapula Province. A school boy was trapped in a tree cleft whilst playing. The old men have long been advising the children not to play around the feared tree but as usual, children disobeyed the order. The villagers have long believed that the tree is spiritual and has resisted uprooting for many years. Efforts by community school trs to rescue the boy failed as the more they tried to pull him out, the more squeezed he was getting until the grey haired old men and women went there to plead with the spirits of the tree to free the boy as he was innocent. After a black chicken sacrifice, the tree freed the little boy and he was back in class learning happily. Surprisingly, he was found without a scratch.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Britain Damian Green, has resigned amid pornography claims.

Mr. Damian Green, who has been facing investigation over claims of explicit material found within his possession in 2008, has finally quite the British Cabinet this evening.

Ukrido, learnt that he was directed by the British Prime Minister Mrs May, to resign from his post as the Deputy Prime Minister.

According to reports online, Damian Green, had tendered an apology for his conduct, after Sir Alex Allan, the independent adviser on ministers' interests, found out he had breached the ministerial code and misled the public.

In his resignation letter, Mr. Damian Green, wrote:

“I regret that I've been asked to resign from the government following breaches of the Ministerial Code, for which I apologise.

“From the outset I have been clear that I did not download or view pornography on my Parliamentary computers.

“I accept that I should have been clear in my press statements that police lawyers talked to my lawyers in 2008 about the pornography on the computers, and that the police raised it with me in a subsequent phone call in 2013.

“I apologise that my statements were misleading on this point.

“The unfounded and deeply hurtful allegations that were being levelled at me were distressing both to me and my family and it is right that these are being investigated by the Metropolitan Police's professional standards department.”

The Prime Minister Mrs. May, who expressed displeasure in Domian’s wrote a letter to him, saying:

“I have also carefully considered the report's conclusions in relation to two statements you made on 4 and 11 November which you now accept were inaccurate and misleading.

“This falls short of the Seven Principles of Public Life and is a breach of the Ministerial Code - a conclusion which has been endorsed by Sir Alex Allan, the Independent Adviser on Ministers' Interests.

“While I can understand the considerable distress caused to you by some of the allegations which have been made in recent weeks, I know that you share my commitment to maintaining the high standards which the public demands of Ministers of the Crown.

“It is therefore with deep regret, and enduring gratitude for the contribution you have made over many years, that I asked you to resign from the Government and have accepted your resignation.”

The recent Local Government Election in Akwa Ibom State that was conducted yesterday 2nd December, 2017, went smoothly as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has cleared all 31 local government areas in the state living APC and other parties with nothing.

A letter released by Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission, AKISIEC, affirming the results earlier declared by the authorized Returning Officers in various locations.

Both PDP Chairmanship candidates in the 31 local government areas and Councillorship candidates in 329 wards all won the election.

AKISIEC, has directed all winners to report and receive their Certificates of Return on Monday, December, 4th.

The result of the election is a clear indication that governor Udom Emmanuel will have no strong interference in his bid for second term. Congratulations to the governor and the good people of Akwa Ibom State.

A mad woman along Ibom Plaza in Uyo, the state capital of Akwa Ibom, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy yesterday.

The incident attracted lots of attentions as women gathered to assist her during delivery.

A Facebook user recognised as Ndifreke, who witness the incident, posted the pictures and wrote;

"Wooow,,, This God is so wonderful.

"I was passing through lbom plaza this afternoon and I saw people gathering, I thought they were discussing politics, and I walked close to the scene, behold it was not political gathering. I asked a young man beside me what is going on and he said that someone gave birth to a child. I walked closer and closer just to see thing with my two eyes, I saw this Bouncing Baby boy and the mother. I starred at the mother of the baby, do you know what surprise me? I discovered that the mother of the baby is one mad woman I always see at the plaza. Wow,,, she gave birth without stress, no pregnancy medical check up. There are some women that go for check up in the best hospitals but yet still it's very difficult for them to deliver safely. But God have mercy on this rejected soul. I thank all the women that assisted her for the successful delivery, and I pray that God will help that fatherless child take him to a place nobody have ever imagine in Jesus name Amen.
