What of Facebook group?

Bishop Akan Weeks, the owner of Reigners Church building that collapsed killing many in Akwa Ibom, was spotted recently in an event.

The collapse of the church building almost killed the State Executive governor, Udom Emmanuel,  who was expected at the venue for an event but he  ended up arriving shortly after the collapse.

The Bishop’s appearance recently looks quite different from what he use to look like in 2015.

Botswana has gotten a new Minister of Trade and Industry who is just 29 years of age.

The young lady, identified as Bogolo Kenewendo, is privileged to work for her country as an honourable minister, owing to the fact that Botswana is one of the successful countries in Africa and the country's currency is one of the strongest in Africa. It currency goes for 9 Botswana Pula to a dollar.

Luck ran out of man who impersonated Nollywood star,  Ezuruonye.

A Facebook user identified as Uju Patricia, who posted the story, wrote;

"An impersonator of Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye, has been arrested by the EFCC.It was gathered that after having his image dragged in the mud by criminal elements who use his name to defraud unsuspecting fans, Ezuruonye petitioned the police.Today, one of the alleged culprits was apprehended by the EFCC. The suspect is identified as Osigbovo from Benin, Edo State.

"He is currently in the custody of EFCC for collecting large sums of money from female fans of the actor. He allegedly used Ezuruonye's image and videos and superimposed his own voice to deceive these women."

A young man recognised as Luke Erukakpome, on Facebook, has come out to thank God for giving him the grace to kill a cobra found in his toilet seat (WC).

While posting photos of the dead cobra, he wrote;

“God's Miracles never end and they are marvellous in our eyes.God saved me from a dangerous horrible looking cobra yesterday night in my toilet Seat(WC) here in Abraka delta state.

“It was around 7.34pm when wanted to use the toilet (pee) I decided to use my touch light to view the sink before action,i saw a black stuff below the water in the toilet seat and I was trying to identify what it could be because I used the toilet some hours ago. Lo and behold it was a horrible looking cobra. I called the care taker of the hostel where I live, he came and confirmed it.The snake is so big that we couldn't devised another good means to kill it than the use of Gun� .For more than 2hrs the snake was there until we called the attention of the vigilante group and finally it was killed with the aid of a gun.

“Please always make sure you look very well before using your toilet. I couldn't believe how it entered but verifications say it came from the toilet suck away pit.”

It was a painful moment for the family of this toddler who was supposed to be dedicated today Sunday, 25th March, 2018, but died on Friday 23rd of March, 2018.

According to a Facebook user, Godswill, who posted the photos, he wrote;

“She was to be dedicated on Sunday, but our all mighty creator decided to take her today...... it's well......may her gentle soul rest in d Bossom of the almighty....Amen”

Former Nollywood child actor, Williams Uchemba, has come out to call out fraudsters online, using his picture to scam women in France and Togo.

Uchemba, who has been the talk of the town recently as a result of the financial turn around in his life, has attracted a lot of attention as people are becoming curious to know how he got his wealth.

On this note scammers, have decided to take advantage of his wealth to do what they know best.

Uchemba, revealed that they even used his picture to design a passpor just to scam women on social media. See photos below.

American music stars Jay-Z and Beyonce, visited the home town of Late Reggae artist, Bob Marley at Kingston in Jamaica.

The couples were seen doing a motorcycle tour through Kingston. While Jay was at the wheel, Beyonce was hanging on behind him, wearing pink boots and fishnet stockings.

According to TMZ, the couples were in Kingston to shoot a video content that will be used for their upcoming On the Run II Tour. The area they were cruising around is called Trenchtown, which was made famous by Bob Marley, who lived there and frequently sang about it before he died.

The report also has it that Jay-Z and Beyonce will be shooting at Tuff Gong, Bob Marley's home and studio.

A young man on Facebook identified as Saviour Udoh, from Ukanfun Local government area of Akwa Ibom State, is crying out for vengeance over the death of his 2 uncles, who were killed today by suspected hoodlums.

According to Udoh,  he revealed that the suspected hoodlums visited his uncle's compound, requesting for N1million  ransom and since his uncles couldn't afford it, they were slaughtered in cold blood.

Udoh, first shared photos of his uncles compound, crying out on Facebook and when friends asked him what really happen? He share the story below.

"2 of my Uncles Killed In Cold Blood, 1 sustain injury.

"This morning killed two of my uncles from my village, Ikot Akpa Idem in Ukanafun local government area were killed.

"suspected hoodlums went to their compounds and slaughtered them for their inability to pay N1 million ransom each demanded by the hoodlums.

"The deceased were given seven days’ notice by the hoodlums to pay the said sum or be killed.

"The deceased being peasant farmers could not raise the huge sum to pay them. So, this morning the suspected criminals visited their compounds, shot them and left unmolested.

"Kidnapping is a common thing facing us in the village. The suspected criminals move from compound to compound pasting demand notices of sums of money people must pay or be killed at the expiration of the deadline."

A notorious thief, who has been terrorizing some part of Akwa Ibom State, met his final destination yesterday Sunday 18th March, 2018, as he was caught in the afternoon, stealing and burnt to death.

A Facebook user identified as Tangseama Kenneth Etuk, who lives in the area, shared photos of the burnt thief and wrote;

“This notorious thief who has been terrorizing my area,breaking into peoples houses,raping their wives and daughters,beating the house owners mercilessly was caught this afternoon while breaking into someone's house.The area boys pounced on him,beat him up n finally set him ablaze......May God have mercy on his soul”

A 20-year-old lady, married to one Malam Hassan Ibrahim, has birthed a baby with 4 legs and 2 genitals at Sabon Garin Makiyawa in Magama Jibia, Katsina State.

Reports, from Dailytrust, has it that the 20-year-old Zainab delivered the baby on March 9, 2018. Hassan and Zainab have been married for four years and are already blessed with a three year old son, Fahad.

While describing the child, the husband, Hassan, said;

“The child has both sexes and four legs, the two abnormal legs and a penis are on the left side of the ribs, only one of the two additional legs is moving, the second doesn’t. I can say it’s a girl because the longer and normal legs have a female genital at their proper place.”

He was further asked if his wife attended ante-natal clinic during pregnancy, Hassan revealed that she did. He said;

“For now, I’m made to understand from some health officials that she may need surgery to correct the defects and was given a referral later to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to meet a consultant paediatric surgeon.”

After series of Examination by Doctors at the Turai Yaradu Clinic, it was stated that “the second twin was attached to the first at the sacral region to the left, swelling at the lumbo sacral region of both twins, polydactyl of the fingers. The provisional diagnosis was said to be sarcophagus con joined twins.”

One of the U.S. military helicopter in Iraq has crashed after hitting a power line in Iraq's western Anbar province, killing all seven personnel aboard.

According to a statement from Pentagon this morning, the officials said the crash of the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter occurred Thursday afternoon near the town of Qaim.

"All personnel aboard were killed in the crash," Brig. Gen. Jonathan P. Braga, director of operations, Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, said in a statement.

"This tragedy reminds us of the risks our men and women face every day in service of our nations," he said. "We are thinking of the loved ones of these service members today."

The statement further said;

"An accompanying U.S. helicopter immediately reported the crash and a quick reaction force comprised of Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition members secured the scene."

According to report, names of those  involved in the crash are being withheld until next of kin have been notified, it said.

NPR's Jane Arraf reports that Iraqi military officials believe that the helicopter went down due to a mechanical fault.

The Associated Press adds:

"The U.S.-led coalition battling Islamic State insurgents in Iraq and Syria have an outpost in Qaim, which is located near the Syrian border. The anti-IS campaign accelerated through much of last year, as coalition and Iraq forces battled to take back a string of cities and towns.

"Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared victory over IS in Mosul in July. In the following months Iraqi forces retook a handful of other IS-held towns including Tal Afar in August, Hawija in September and Qaim in October. In November, Iraqi forces retook the last Iraqi town held by IS — Rawah, near the border with Syria."

Mr. Orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor to Abia state has come out reveal that he can not fight corruption better than President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former governor, disclosed this at the quarterly public lecture series of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) held in Abuja.

Orji Uzor Kalu, who is currently facing his trial for allegedly stealing N2.9billion from Abia state when he was governor from 1999 to 2007, defected from People’s Democratic Party PDP to APC in November 2016.

In his statement, he said;

“My prosecution is political. Our accounts in Abia state were transparent under my watch. The US knows, the UK knows. I have been given a red carpet in these two countries. I have been given a red carpet in China. In fact, I am stronger in fighting corruption than President Buhari because he is not fighting it well. I have recovered peoples’ money and given them back. I am a creator of wealth at every level. If any court finds me to be corrupt, it should jail me. Corruption is the bane of this country. A corrupt judge, corrupt politician are worse than an armed robber. Nigerians should start electing presidents that have meaning and gut to take decisions. President Buhari has got some guts but he should arrest Obasanjo for us to know that corruption is working. Without arresting Obasanjo, he has not started fighting corruption because Obasanjo took away our $16 billion electricity money. So, unless he arrests Obasanjo, corruption is not being fought in Nigeria.”

Road users today, were disappointed when Central Bank of Nigeria's Police, had to stop their movement along Owerri-Mbaise road, just to because of their spoilt vehicle.

A mobile police officer who was punched by a soldier at a burial ceremony in Sapele, Delta State, died shortly after the incident.

According to multiple reports, the mobile police officer recognised as Mr. Imomoh was reportedly at the burial ceremony when a group of soldiers began shooting continuously into the air.

Reports have it that Mr.Imomoh, when noticed that the situation was getting out of hand, walked up to one of the soldiers and asked him to stop shooting as he could accidentally hit someone.The soldier, in the spirit decided to descend on him, unknowingly to him that Imomoh was also an officer.

The soldier punched Mr. Imomoh on his chest and a fight almost broke out but Imomoh was held back by people around but shortly after he was taken away from the seen, Imomoh, slumped and died. Immediately the soldiers noticed the police officer had slumped, they ran away.

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally touched the soil of Benue state since the killing of many innocent people in the state.

The president is currently holding a meeting with stakeholders in the state over the incessant attacks and killings between herdsmen and farmers.

Receiving the President Buhari was Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, his wife, cabinet members,  traditional rulers and others.

A brave boy identified as Francis Akachukwu Eze, from Eastern Nigeria, has made his family proud byentering a well so to safe his 3-year-old brother who fell inside.

The 9-year-old boy whose neighbours tried to prevent him from entering the well, reportedly told them "My brother must not die," as he summoned courage, went inside the well and brought his younger brother out.

A Facebook user, Femi Victor, who posted the story, wrote;
