I'm having issues with all my applications ( browsers, YouTube, bank apps and twitter always saying I'm offline), so I can only use instagram, what's app and nairaland operamini. Please help.
I'm using xiaomi redmi note 4. And whenever I on hotspot for people they enjoy all these.

Please I'm having issues with my ntel line. It can't open my phone browser, chrome, uc browser, even operamini except for nairaland on operamini, cannot even Google, can't open twitter or bank apps, and YouTube. It can only open instagram facebook and WhatsApp. Please what can I do. Called the customer care and they didn't say anything tangible. I use redmi note 4. People enjoy these features whenever I on hotspot. Browser is telling me that my proxy port is not correct.

Here is a video I made on how to get ntel working on Xiaomi devices on any miui version. Unlike the other method I saw on this thread, this works whether your sim is on sim 1 or 2, or even if it's the only sim in the phone.

First of all, select ntel as the data sim and input ntel APN, now you just need to get to the *#*#4636#*#* screen, then enter the 'Phone information' of your ntel sim.
Now switch on Airplane mode.

If the network mode is on LTE Only, switch it to any other network mode.

But if it is already on any other network mode aside LTE Only, just disable Airplane mode, and quickly switch it to LTE Only before the ntel signal appears. The network signal will be stable. That is the trick.

But if you don't quickly select LTE Only before network signal pop up, it will disappear.

Basically, unlike other methods, this only takes 5-10 seconds to get it working.

I was talking about VoLTE, not getting ntel network to be stable.

By the way, i've come up with a faster, better and simpler way to get ntel working on Xiaomi devices, and it works on all miui roms, whether on sim 1 or 2. I'll make a video and post it.

Don't fall for this campus zone scam. A room mate of mine is using this and he'll be receiving a message on his bed that he has left the campus zone. Whenever the network is good he'll receive a message that he has left the campus zone vice versa. If he switch off his data he'll be on the zone, if he switch it on he'll receive a message he has left the zone. Such a frustrating thing

For the record, Just connect your device to PC, open the storage, copy these folders if you ever make use of them:
*Bluetooth
*DCIM for your camera shots/videos and screenshots
*documents
*WhatsApp
* download,
*Xender
*music
*Ringtones (if you have any user defined ones)
*UC downloads
*Pictures
*MIUI (for your backup files, downloaded themes, sound recorder for incall records and other audio recordings) etc.
Again, these are primarily the necessary folders and available folders are user dependent.

Your APKs can only be backed up by sharing with a PC or android device. To share via PC, just launch your Xender, go to options and select CONNECT TO PC > via Hotspot. Launch your PC browser and connect your PC to your smartphone hotspot (with prefix as Xender) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope you will agree with me that people here have had different experiences with different roms on same phone? Have you imagined when Gsmarena does a review with a buggy rom and come up with a poor SOT for instance? I hope you get the drift? You don't come to conclusion by just relying on online sources. Get a real life feel and you are better off. For the camera I still hold my stand, maybe my unit is different .

chief about rn4 camera u said that maybe yours is different, I think you are right. I know of a guy that bought his rn4x last year June right here in my school. When I compared his camera last week. The difference was so clear. His own was far better than mine. Even after changing the whole of my settings to the one he's using. I think the old rn4x's camera is better than the new ones. Ps. I just got mine this January. And the difference might be note 4 global version's camera might not be as standard as note 4x

After 6 days with my Redmi 5, I still can't believe I once considered it an option to the Camon cx. After comparing side by side, I discovered It's miles ahead abeg, lighter, sleeker, 720p even looking better dan 1080p, etc.. And for those complaining about camera, just chill, d photos are very good.. just dat d camera isn't very saturated like tecno n co which isn't a bad thing, so if you want "better" looking photos, just hit "edit", "saturation" and increase a bit.. you'll be amazed.
