guys, just as a precaution, b4 downloading updates for any device/handheld pls try to use google to find out if other users have done it successfully or not so as to avoid bricking ur fone.

techfreak: pls which network upgraded it? mtn or glo or u saw jellybean stock rom on the net? unless u bot a second hand galaxy s2 on verizon network frm USA....

i am not telling you that i hav upgraded an s2 to jellybean, i am saying that according to official post by samsung and google, the s2 will be able to upgrade to jellybean. And also upgrade do not neccesarily need to be done with a mobile network. WIFI IS ALSO AN OPTION.

we are talking about os version upgrade here. and very soon ICS will be ancient, just like froyo and gingerbread. then what will you do with your ICS phone that cant be upgraded?.

Remember the old samsung galaxy S2? Yeah, i know it is already ''ancient''. But unlike any tecno phone, it is upgradeable to jellybean. i would gladly go for this than buy a 28k fone that is stuckwit one OS.

pauladonis: says who, I had d money to buy galaxy grand, but, n7 of d same specs was a more economic choice, what is dat d galaxy grand has that is so spectacular, it has d same screen resolution, pixel density, screen size with n7, 783mb user accesible ram, gosh......... they are both dualcores, n7 can be overclocked to 1.5ghz. FYI, galaxy grand only has d hedge of 4.1jb, not even 4.2............

one advantage that samsung, htc and other high-end phones will continue to have over TECNO is the fact they are not stuck with one OS version i.e they are upgradeable. And that for me is a huge one. NO ONE WANTS TO SPEND 30K ON A PHONE THAT BECOMES ''OUTDATED'' WITHIN A FEW WEEKS OF PURCHASE!

most of these dual-sim androids are not upgradeable via custom roms i.e stuck with the current os version.

use google to search for .cab files for ur windowsmobile 6.1 or 6.5. just search file.cab eg opera.cab

wm6.1 and 6.5 cant use whatsapp. only supports wm7 and above
