Guys just uninstall all ur java fx and install a better easy-to-use emulator. download ''esmertec jbed''. no connection issues. i use it for all my java apps. just google it.

tempest01: For mtn, just subscribe to ur normal bis plan, and in the settings of ur other phone (not bb) or modem, use apn as "blackberry.net".
NB.It seems there is now a data cap for mtn bis though.

Why not simply get a good android phone. Blackberries and windows phones (nokia lumia) don't support tethering (hot spot data sharing with PC) But all android devices do.

And what's more; you can get android devices that are way cheaper than windows phone or blackberry.

Just an advice.

if you want internet sharing via wifi, get an android phone or an HTC windows phone. I use an htc dash 3G but i would advice you to get an HTC TOUCH PRO 2. still androids are the best.

Although i got no reply on this thread, i already got a solution for all nigerian networks. i would also love to help my fellow nigerians so anybody with problems connecting to internet on windows mobile should drop a post now.

you dont need to subscribe again! just make sure you have the amount on your phone and the plan will be automatically renewed and ur remaining data added.

I have been browsing with just 20naira on my line with no issues. not sure that is for all sim cards.

just follow the steps on page1 to subscribe and then connect ur phone using cable or bluetooth. use blackberry.net as apn.

About the hotspot ish. i use a windows phone but frm what i knw, u cant use bb hotspot with bis.

3110c is not wifi enabled. you can only use usb or bluetooth connection. still good enough tho.

wireless connection works with only wi-fi enabled devices. i also use it but only for phone to phone connections. cool speed.

Relixy2k: There is 3.5g. I use it to update my E72 phone abt 200 mb. It was updated in 25mins moving in between 600kb and 1.90 mbps
