No, it's about say person get mind. The 50k Prop Firm Account is way way better than the 10k's, bro. Why do I say dat? Because of DD. For me, the bigger a DD is, the better. And more reduced the high tension in lower DD

5% Daily DD of 50k is $2,500 compare to $500 for 10k's. One have to be thorough and meticulous to trade the 10k.

I wanted to ask the question too but I decided to respect myself cos some will argue that it's a competition and everything goes.

Normally, I will risk a maximum of 0.3 since the target is 5%. And I will also wait for my parameters to be met b4 taking a trade.
But as it stands, I'm currently risking 0.5 and on a trade that didn't even meet my entry conditions. I'm just gambling. Sincerely!

I wish @Infofirst can look into this and maybe bring a better idea. This one might not work.

so i was driving this evening & trying to process this.

You cannot sell what you don't have. There has to be demand before supply.

That's why an IPO always start with a buy. Before a sell or market correction.


PART 1


Let's say EURUSD is currently trading @ 1.13000, AFTER 8 hours it bought all the way to 1.15000 which means there was a demand (MONEY INFLOW) for the EUR against money outflow from the USD


Asumming 1.15000 was at a new all time high (on all timeframes ; no previous support/resistance) all of a sudden at exactly 1.15100 it reverses or starts to sell.


why that particular price before the sell?


Could it be that was the equilibrium price where the total volume demanded = total supply available to match the demand?


Then, for supply to happen it means some people are actually buying as the price drops from 1.15100. But more sell off means there's more volume to be sold than actually bought.


So does it mean the person that bought at exactly 1.15100 before the sell off loses money?


I guess not because if he held his position the price at some time in the distant future (which is dependent on the timeframe) will come back. Then he can sell & create liquidity for buyers at that distant future.


PART 2


From 1.15100 the EURUSD sells to exactly 1.14130 before buying again to this time 1.17200 (without a previous support / resistance; fresh new all time high prices)


Why that exact price (1.14130) before a buy?


Practically,

Check on any chart you can mark previous highs & see that MR. A bought at that high price (before a sell off) from MR. B that bought at a previous lower price.


After the sell off, price at some time came back to that initial high that MR. A bought & even went higher for MR. A to sell for a profit & MR. C bought from him at the now higher price...& So on.


Is the buying & selling part of forex a ZERO-SUM game?


But then how do you hold Leveraged products like what we trade without getting margin calls or something.


If it was in a traditional broker or on an exchange.

You can buy 1,000,000 units of EURUSD & hold.

For you to lose your money EURUSD must drop to 0.0000 which is unlikely to happen.

This does not require opening a group outside here, neither does it require teaching ourselves our different strategies... No need for that.
