I think I can help with a little explanation... The PayPal credit (funding) works this way....

If you have a PayPal account (foreign country domiciled) that can receive funds unto it, for example A USA PayPal account, then you can simply contact a trustworthy e-currency exchangers who sells PayPal funds, Or anyone who has got some funds (PayPal Dollars) available in their PayPal account (Non-Nigerian domiciled account), and willing to sell these funds at a cheaper rate to you (i.e at 210Naira per $1) Instead of the current dollar to Naira exchange rate of over 220Naira per $1.

In clear terms... You cannot buy funds unto your Nigerian PayPal account from an Exchanger at a cheaper rate of 210-215 Naira per $1 to make payments for your online transactions.....

But you can only make payments if you're making use of your Nigerian PayPal account (after linking your Local Bank-Issued Debit/Credit Card to it) at the higher bank exchange rate for instance N227 per $1

One can only withdraw to bank account or request for cheque to be issued.

You can link your Naija debit card to ur US paypal acct witout issues, I linked my GT mastercard to one of my US paypal so I belive it accepts most naija card bt be aware dat you can't link a card to two different paypal accts

Are you saying that you linked your Gtbank Debit Naira MasterCard to your US PayPal account and it was accepted- Because I'm aware that GTbank bank provides A Debit Naira MasterCard and a Dollar MasterCard so specify which one you used??
