luvluvluv: What a time to be here.... I started this course at NIIT 3yrs ago but never completed it even after payment.
My major challenge was with the tutor I guess. No real life application examples. So I got more frustrated.
Can anyone also recommend a good IT center who teaches these things well? Holla... Emmm... first off.. congrats for starting at all... I get your point... it's never easy especially when you can't find real life application. I guess your tutor was teaching you the syntax rather than the concept and that's why you can't do much on your own. I've been there. I'm not going to teach you Python, no... I'm going to learn with you. We're going to learn alongside all those here willing to learn too... #I'm learning just like you. Just exposed. Drop your number so I can add you up |

Warripikin08: Yes, well I just start learning programming this week but I started with Java script first so as not to confuse my self nor get distracted. Andi have told my self that programming is one of my dream that will play along with my life. Any way guess what, I ''ve not being able to complete the tutorial video I downloaded earlier. Each time I want to watch the video is either I will procrastinate watching the video or when watching the video my mind get distracted or my mmy mind and my brain is not ready to accept anything for that particular period and the funny aspect of it is that I really want to learn programming. I understand you completely, and I also want you to know that I and someone other people experince the very exact same thing you're experiencing. This thread was created to help us out of this sort of situation, it would! Though, python is what we plan to do as a team here, you could still join the team for motivation. There will be room for that. Just drop your number here, we'll all link up. Good luck. |

Good afternoon everyone, I'm sorry I'm replying this late.
It's Almost time to get started, if you're interested in the learning python programming language with other people so you won't dull easily, drop your numbers here.
I'm going to create a group on whatsapp, or perhaps, on google class room so we can always meet.
Meanwhile, for those looking to ask questions revolving around other programming languages, please do.
Have a wonderful day ahead! |

mexzony: I get you.not a lot of people are disciplined and it can be very exciting when you see projects done in one language and you are already learning another.its like you want to know everything all at the same time. I understand the "I know all the programming concepts but cant do jack with it". The key to programming from my little experience is knowing how to connect the concepts with real life everyday scenarios.this is whybi recommend books that do real life projects as you read along so you see what that concept is relating to in real life.for example there is what we call interface is Java c# and what an interface simply does for us is let us treat an object that implements that interface in terms of what it can do and not what or who the object is.we don't care who it is just what it can do.how does this relate to real life scenario? Boom it turns out we have been using interfaces all our lives. When you see your math lecturer he has a name a family where he comes from but that is who he is all I know is that when he walks into the class I see him as a lecturer (what he can do.he implements the ilecturer interface) so I expect him to be able to lecture me on math.i dont care about who he is Mr so so so. You see when you can connect concepts like this it becomes easier to write programms. Just get a book that will force you to code as you read. I may not expect you to understand the interface I just explained but hope you get my point.its about connecting it to real life scenarios. I understand, completely! |

iHart: thanks for the recommendation, I have got lots of e-copies of python and html/css books but I will check out this one you just mention if at all I have not gotten them. I also have videos but my greatest challenge is time to sit down and learn. Last January I enrolled in a school but I never attended a class till date. lol Lol... I feel you, and I'm sure a lot of other fellas here can relate to what you've just said. It's quite easy to gather all the materials, (within the 4 years I've tried to learn programming, I think I've created a personal library - I have Java tutorials, Java for Android, Html, Css, I have sublime, Atom, Visual studio code... lol.. you can't imagine.) What I'm saying is, not everyone can muster the discipline to stay focused, eating through the gathered materials.... People like this need a team! ...and that's the major reason why I created this tread. To help people learn by making them work together. #...stop gathering materials, it's time to use them. |

mexzony: See just stick to one and learn and make sure it's a book that will teach you along side doing projects so you get excited. Look what you see in one in terms of concepts is what you will see in another book so stick to one and learn it. I suggests you go for the murach books on Python or whatever language you want. They are very good with real world applications.google them Brother, it's not as easy as you've written it. I knew that 4 years back, but it didn't stop me from hopping around. 3 years back, I was better educated about programming languages, I still hopped!! 2 years back... Hmmm... I knew what I wanted. I was sure it was python, and I resolved I was going to learn with online when like code academy and coursera. I was very serious, infact, I completed a whole introductory course on python and guess what, I became more confused and frustrated. This was because, I actually knew the syntax, understood loops, variables, concatenation, white spaces, and all the topics I studied but I didn't know what to do with them... I'm sure a lot of people must have experienced this too... The problem with learning programming alone is, you're almost never sure of yourself, what to do... ypu don't know what to do with what you know... you imagine the basic things around you like games, apps that are based on the programming language you studied and you figure out that you can't even attempt it. What I discovered lately that has helped me and given me some assurance is: I get to know what I'm learning, what is can be used for, how it can be used, when it can be used, and why it should be used if need be. Courses on coursera and code academy didn't teach me programming like this. One material that will be of immense help to you, showing you the how, when, what and where... is UDACITY. Though most of the courses are paid for... "Introduction to Python programming" is free... The guy lecturing is good... and by the time you'd be done with it.... you'd be acquainted and inspired enough to continue with whatever materials you find. I will explain things in detail as we proceed.... Just keep the questions coming... Meanwhile, for those who are willing to learn Python programming, when we're up to like 5, we'll all begin together and push ourselves... *I've covered some lessons already, but I will start all over to guide those who need help setting up the necessary environments. |

Distractions here and there, and I have projects I want to work on. I don't want to outsource them because I want to use them to learn coding as well...
so I am here now, how do we "GO"? Lol... welcome home. I'll make an update tomorrow. |
Programming › If You've Always Wanted To Learn Programming But Failed, Be Here!!! by dosh16(op): 3:37pm On Jul 20, 2018 |
Ok. Without waste of time, I'll explain why I'm creating this thread. 4 years back, I heard about HTML and tried to learn it, unfortunately, I didn't. Reason being that I was distracted. I mean, there was so much exciting info than I could handle and I just kept trying to learn everything I came across (I HAD NO DIRECTION)! Later on, I would try to learn Java, leave it, jump to Java for Android, leave it, go back to Html and once more, leave it again! Today I've started python and I don't see my self jumping again, I'm more informed. I know there are several people out here looking to learn a programming language but can't because of information overload, usually experienced after googling "WHAT'S THE BEST PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE TO START WITH? " A WAY OUTLike ai said earlier, after several years of hopping around, I'm more informed and can save you the time ai wasted by answering all your questions here. For peole who find it easier to grow as a team, you have that team here. If you feel you'd like to learn python programming, we can fix a date we'll all start, stay commited by making rules, and keeping to them as a community. I'll be waiting for you guys to say the "Go" word! And please, don't forget, in the land where there is no job, skill makes you stand out! Besides Programming is the language of the future... *I'm no longer sure about Mandarin! #Peace |

Organism000: You have asked so many sincere questions and I will respond amicably hoping the response I provide will be helpful to someone out there who is in a dilemma of some sort.
You have mentioned the variant in customary and traditional norms as well as expectations of pre-marital rites of marriage and the responsibilities in diverse strata of human habitats.
If marriage was nature's programmed institution with organic structures, then there would have been a natural blueprint via which all marriages among all Humans on Earth would have followed. Let me re-phrase that to make my point clear. If marriage was ordained by Nature, there would have been organic blueprint of how 'Humans MUST go about marriage' by the Nature, just like Humans have peculiar ways of having sexx, drinking water, singing songs, dancing to rhythms and even urinating and going to the toilet.
If you study the history of Humans from the pre-nephilim era, you will acknowledge how far humans have gone, from era where women were taken as spoils of war, through the time women were traded as sexx slaves, to the time strong men can own as many women as they like and even take from the weak men. In the era of our grand parents, men could afford to marry as many women as possible, so it was always a mater of war and discord, which is why the traditions and religions decided that it was necessary to introduce order. So marriage was invented as a control measure to ensure that the women are 'owned'.
It is really disgusting to read that women are owned, and we can disprove it for all we can, but the truth is that women are expected to change their names, from their parent's to their husband, this is nothing more than 'Change of Title' to the 'New Owner'. Women became commodities to be traded between families to the point that some women were used to pay debts by certain families and they dare not say 'no' to their parents decision. That trend continues to this day, in the North where parents betroth their daughters at tender age of 1 to 5 to a man within a certain family for marriage even though these kids are yet to understand what marriage is.
In the Eastern part of the country, daughters are commodities to be exchanged with wealth from rich suitors and if you do not have cash, you dare not try to marry from a rich family. The Politicians intermarry because they use their kids to grow the bond of political friend.
The above has led to so much unhappiness. Now, let us go back to where we lost in nature.
Humans have forgotten that their body is that of an animal, who was designed by the Gods, but the SPirit of Creator as well as the Octopus rides their consciousness. So it is time for us to ponder on the ways of Spirit.
What is really important in marriage ? Love. If there is no Love in marriage, should one continue to be in marriage ? No What about the kids ? As long as the parents are not in love, the kids will not feel love, so their sub-conscious mind will program the disaffection, so the best thing is that both parents must sit their kids down and explain to them what love is and why they love them very much and will like to rotate custody while providing the resources for the kids to grow in love of different parents. So, after these, both parents can choose which kid spends time with which parent at a particular time.
Never should we allow the fact that we have fallen out of love with our partner affect our kids because we want to obey the commandment of Gods. Tell such God, that you are no longer interested in being unhappy, if such God think it is easy, let that God come down to 3rd Density and live as humans and try marrying, make we check if khaki na leather.
The problem in this continent is that we worship the Gods because we are afraid of them, and we are afraid of them because we do not know them. When you know what the Gods are, you will understand how important you for them, and the Gods have no choice than to help you experience better lives.
I know the Gods, and I tell them what I want, and what I need them to do, and I do not worship them at all. The Gods are our friends. If you know the Gods, you will never live unhappy lives devoid of Love.
I love totally, but when the love is over, we negotiate and if need be, every one move on, cos Love is the sweetest thing and nothing should stop one from loving, not even the kids. Cos kids will be more proud of us, if we teach them how to love and how to move on when they feel unloved.
Thanks for asking. You have spoken well! |
