kwaso2:
It is well.
I think yoir thoughts are right. Knowing and analysing our spiritual leaders instructions through the bible or whatever you read.

Ay the same time, it's dicey. The bible encourages us "to believe in his prophets, so that you will prosper". So there should be some individualistic balance across board.

For me:
The pastor that will want me to give(sow) the only money with me in lieu of my feeding or very basic need should be subject to questions even though God can stimulate you to take such extreme decision

I agree with you100%; it is very dicey. Because, how do you when your “walking in faith” or stupidity?
Religion / Should You Trust Your Religious Leader At All Times? by dosh16(m): 11:30am On May 08, 2022
As Christians, Muslims, Jains, and followers of different belief systems, we continually strive to make it to the good side of afterlife — heaven.

Consequently, we follow (or at least try to follow) the teachings of our scriptures, sometimes at the cost relationships, family, financial gains, much more.

Some pastors have turned people against their families, made people who barely have enough to give all they have so that “they might receive.”

You hear words like, “God loves the giver.” “Give, and you shall receive.” “Contribute to the building of God’s house, and see how God will build your own house.”

But it doesn’t end in giving, it would have been good if it did. Some pastors tell members that their mother, brother, uncle, or aunt in the village are the source of their misgivings.

Some have made members hurt others. Talk about Rev. King; about pastors in Akwa Ibom State that have made parents drill 6-inch long nails into the heads of kids they deem, “witches.” Pastors who have made fathers serve their kids acid to drink.

This reminds me of Apostle Jim Jones who in November 18, 1978 led over 900 people (including babies) to commit mass suicide by drinking poison.

Not familiar with this story? You can find the details here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlZgDIkCSm4

But it’s not even just the Christian leaders. Some Muslim leaders have lead many men to fight unnecessary fights and lost their lives in the process. They’ve turned members against other religious denominations, governments, and even regular everyday people.

Matters like this is what makes me ask the big question: Should you trust your legions leaders at all times?

When do you say no, and stand your ground even when being blackmailed with scriptures that have been twisted?

Or do we follow blindly to eat grass, snakes, scorpions, or even commit suicide like Apostle Jim Jones’ members? This particular case worries me so much, because of the number of lives that were lost at a go.

If you ask me, I’ll say people should learn to base their beliefs in their scriptures and not in words of men. When we go to Church, Mosque, the shrine or wherever, we should carry our thinking faculty with us.

I would love to hear what you guys think about this issue, as well as your personal experiences.
Phones / Re: I Need Help: I Am A Victim Of Wrong Phone Tracking [my Story] by dosh16(m): 2:53pm On Jul 22, 2020
Emyo:
Good day everyone who finds this and I wish to get help as soon as possible as I will be very brief.

On the 20th of July 2020 I got arrested by Asaba State CID from Enugu state and immediately thrown into prison.

On my arrest, I was arrested with an iPhone 7 Plus, the police officers dialed my phone number and it rang on my iPhone. Then I was asked where is the camon 15 I stole on the 7th of July in Asaba. I told them I didn’t visit Asaba on 7th I showed prove. Then the IPO told me the stolen phone was tracked and my phone number appeared to have been inserted into the stolen phone on the 9th of July.

This is ridiculous as I informed the police of my status in the society and that since April I have not removed my sim from my phone.

I had to pay N185,000 as amount of phone and cost of tracking to be freed after paying N50,000 for bail.

I am writing this because I need help, I need an independent tracker as agreed between me and the IPO to unravel the mystery of how my phone number got linked with the IMEI.

Please any recommendation will be appreciated

If you know you didn't buy your phone from someone (there's a possibility it may have been stolen), then reach out to SEGALINK via twitter or Instagram. He can help you get back your money and maybe even take those officers off the road.

Goodluck.
Romance / Re: My Fiancée Deletes Chat On Facebook After Conversation by dosh16(m): 3:06pm On May 08, 2020
Bro, I don't normally comment on issues like this, but I won't like you to spill milk unnecessarily.

Almost every girl (if not every) has guys chasing her actively. While some of them don't see anything wrong in letting their guy know, others do.

In the end, if you're dating any lady that you're willing to put a ring on, just ask yourself the following questions:

Are you happy with her?

*Is she someone that's dynamic and sustain meaningful discussions?

*Is she all about spending spending spending without thinking about investments and savings?

*Is she ambitious? Like dies she constantly trying her hands at things with the intention of growing?

*Does she look to you for advice? This is very important.

Lastly, does she respect, and understand you? Is she patient and forgiving?

If the answer is YES to all the aforelisted, then she's a keeper. There's a high chance she lives you.

Forget about her deleting her chat. If you're number 1 on her list, and you can maintain your position not just financially but otherwise, you're good to go.

After all, almost all girls are motivated by self-interest; guys too .

Good luck, bro.

Tedpgrass:

Good article
Definitely creates awareness.

The incidence rates are much higher than that quoted for GD, PET/Eclampsia and miscarriages..

Our poor record keeping has not helped identify true incidence/prevalence as most maternal deaths are unexplained... "village people"

So folks these conditions are more common than expected, more so in our population.

Prevention is key, having a good and regular antenatal care is imperative, a necessity not a luxury

Kudos once again to Op!!

Please if I may ask..... During the C-section operation, will the fibroid be removed during that process or only the baby will be remove?

It all depends on your doctor. You might be glad to know that most times, the decision your doctor makes is widely dependent on his training. Most old doctors (who were trained a long time ago) tend to prefer some procedures even when there are more recent and better methods. This is them doing what they're most comfortable with.

THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTion:

It's possible for a doctor to remove fibroid during a C-section. In fact, it's often really tempting(you can imagine), however, it's not safe, and usually not done. So it's most likely that only the baby will be reduced.

Here are two reasons why it is unsafe:

1. During pregnancy, the uterus becomes very vascular, thus increasing the risk of over bleeding.

2. Fibroids usually grow larger during pregnancy, partly due to pregnancy hormones. Thus, there's a higher chance that a complication might occur.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for asking.

If spotted, C-section. Can be elective and planned for. It would depend on actual size if it would seriously disturb baby/mum.

Good one from OP.

Thanks plenty!

Hello everyone, hope your day is going fine. I'm about to add everyone who just dropped a number. I urge you all to try and be serious with this programming thing. Like I said earlier; besides the fact that it's profitable (as it's where the world is headed), it can be used for personal tasks. Example, automate some of your everyday tasks that take much of your time. Again, if you have any personal project, you could have fun building it yourself instead of hiring someone else. If I read well, Facebook started like this.

***Meanwhile, please, if you know you won't be active on the group and will not "try" to be serious, DO NOT DROP YOUR NUMBER! Being serious for yourself and being active is the least you could do.***** #Save me the time of having to remove you. Thanks.
