In addition to this, you can take a gamble by calling for EOR on your writing and probably speaking to see if the remark will change something. Never ever give up...

Trying to contact British council via phone calls, email or any of their social media platforms is a waste of precious time. They are still in the stone age. Its best for you to find time to go there if you can. It will be sorted out on the spot.
