Afonjas never disappoint. This shows they have stockpile of assorted human parts such that human hands now sell as cheap as "Cold Stone" Ice Cream.
People you are warned to put your hands under lock and key whenever you are approaching SW because human hands are hot selling commodities. |

This is a good piece. It's a hard fact. I'm not Nnamdi Kanu's fan but I totally agree with your analysis. His story is very similar to Jesus' rise from ordinary carpenters Son to a Messiah. The difference is that Jesus performed miracles in the course of his ministry while NK doesn't. Lol |

Why haven't the FG deployed soldiers to northern states where Irate youths, hostile religious fanatics and menacing herdsmen originate from. I am not Nnamdi Kanu's fan but in my opinion I'd say that the FG is inadvertently making the guy a hero as stories about his activities or anything that concerns him make headlines in every news source. Even people that hate the guy And what he is fighting for are drunk with stories about him. They can't resist making input whenever his issue arises.
His cravings have suddenly turned to an ideology and judging from historical evidence or rather facts, it's difficult if not impossible to end certain ideologies with military might or intimidation. Military suppression can only bring a temporary relief. Especially when you are dealing with people who are largely seen as unarmed and defenseless. Dialogue would have achieved much easily and on a long term.
My humble opinion though ...the difference between Boko Haram and iPOB is that Boko Haram is armed and violent and were mindlessly abducting students, raiding and killing innocent civilians whereas IPOB is widely seen as non violent even despite glaring provocations. IPOB detainees are seen as prisoners of conscience rather than lawbreakers especially hen compared with Boko Haram.
The Non violent approach that IPOB preaches despite countless intimidations is making their popularity spread like wildfire. Can't you see that they have gained a positive recognition of Ohaneze Ndigbo and the attention of South Eastern Governors. can't you see that South Eastern NASS members are showing sympathy without knowing it by calling for demilitarising of SE. They are waiting for who will bell the cat. This is exactly what happened to early Christians. They were unarmed and non violent despite intimidations, maimings and killings. Did the suppression stop the spread of Christianity? Capital No. Christianity still stands the test of time and those that paid the price with their lives are highly revered martyrs |

mcquin: Well "power emanates from the barrel of a gun." IPOB killed Hausas in PH. If the "lion" is killed in retaliation, so be it. Una fit break the country after that, but first allow Hausas have their pound of flesh. No civilised person ask for violence but Hausa-Fulani never forgives. I am not NK's fan but I like having a balanced view of issues. The Non violent approach that IPOB preaches despite countless intimidations is making their popularity spread like wildfire. divinecode101: No he can never be chased out, he will be killed and his followers wiped out. so do you think killing him will solve the problem. Can't you see that the guy doesn't rent crowd like all governors and politicians. Killing him is very easy but another with stronger guts will rise up. His aspirations is fast becoming a creed in South East. You don't defeat a creed with bullets. Ask history. |

SATOH: During the peak of boko haram insurgency, most of the affected states were heavily militarized. But after they were localized to just Borno and Yobe, the military were moved there. As at now, Borno and Yobe have heavy military presence.
You only dialogue when you are at advantage position... The military need to reduce the population of the agigators, it's then the government can dialogue. My brother the difference between Boko Haram and iPOB is that Boko Haram is armed and violent and we're mindlessly abducting students, raiding and killing innocent civilians whereas IPOB is widely seen as non violent even despite glaring provocations. Blue3k: What sense does this make. The trial is in less than a month. Why is everyone over analyzing this with crazy theories. If they want him on house arrest he wouldn't have been able to leave house to give that space outide his coumpound. If they want him on house arrest the prosecution would call for this. Was is it the prosecutor that "called for" recent military patrol or near invasion of Nnamdi Kanu's locality. |
