I can't really multitask even after rooting and downloading Ram manager, is there a setting I didn't get well or any app that can solve this?

Pls sb should help. I have been trying to root this phone but to no avail.I have flashed the twrp recovery image With sp flash tool with showed 100% successful but the major issue is that it can't boot to twrp recovery mode using the vol + power button combination.I am just frustrated with this phone not rooted.multitasking is SO annoying.

Redo the flash twrp recovery I made with so flash tool and after it says successful, use the vol+ and power button again. It also happened to me, that's what I did

Ok, firstly go to this link https://forum .. com/thread-1.html , remove the spaces between the dots or search on google "how to root tecno phones, look for the one provided by and check the steps and files that you need for Tecno camon c5, you also need a System for the rooting.
Let me know when you've downloaded the files or if you stay around Surulere, we could hook up.

I finally rooted my f*cking camon c5, the feel of multitasking is so good.

Camon C8 and C5 are seriously on point. I use a camon c5 though.

But what has got me annoyed is the multitasking issue and I don't want to root it. It would be nice if they send a system update that can solve the issue or is it a ploy by Tecno to push customers to get Phantom 5? Who get 70k??

To those that have used the c5, how good is the battery life? And how sharp is the camera??

I'm currently using C5, the battery life is really good and the camera is on point.
I've not really used the front camera though, it also comes with a flash light at the front, the only problem though is multitasking issue, which I hope they would resolve soon, because I'm not ready to risk rooting the phone.

Hello Guys! the multitasking issue with camon c8 has been fixed oh.... i unrooted my fone yesterday then i got ywo updates, which i did... After that a lock appeared when i try to multitask.... Here is the trick ( U need to click that lock for it to lock work properply.... I can now switch between games now without it restarting... No need to root again.... As u can see i have exceeded 750mb of ram

Bro, so are you saying that, for the multitasking feature to work well we have to use the lock feature.

Engineers or Android gurus in the house,I bought a camon c5 today, hoping that I would be able to change the Imei number without rooting it like that of my Infinix hot, but I haven't been able to change it.
I downloaded all the Apps that was said was needed to change the imei without rooting.
I downloaded MTK engineer mode first, when I got to the radio information of Phone 1 and tried changing it with the command AT+EMGR=1,7"the new Imei number ", the reply I got is that: " Info: this command is not allowed in User Build."
I also downloaded Mobile Uncle Tools, but it didn't bring out the "Engineer MTK mode" when I selected the "Engineer mode".
I even downloaded Engineering Mode app, same thing with MTK engineering mode.

Now the question is how can I change the Imei without rooting or must I root it before I can change it? I read the thread of camon c8 and saw that most people changed their Imei without rooting it and I guess they're the same or what do I need to do? or do I have to activate the user build somewhere? please I would appreciate your help. Good evening... Please I would appreciate if you'll be able to reply me.

My sister is in a sort of dilemma, she gained admission through the supplementary list, she applied for Mass communication but was given Sociology (Social work).
Here is the problem, for Social Work in her O'levels she is required to have Maths, Eng and two Social Science courses, she had Economics but didn't have Government, but she had "Civic Education", me thinking Civic Education would be an acceptable Social Science course told her all is well. Well, she went for the screening today but was told she needed two Social science subjects and she couldn't get screened today.

However, she was told to drop her credentials and her number, that she would be contacted and that her course would be changed. My question now though:
1. Hope she hasn't lost her admission and would be given another course? (If the Screening officers were lying).
2. Has anyone gone through something similar or you know someone who has and was offered another course.
3. If she would be given admission, how long would it take?

It looks fancy and I have a feeling it would be pretty expensive
