Check how much it takes to run a hospital, especially a specialist hospital. Now, factor that into the surgery cost, and you may see how much the doctors actually profit from the 1 million naira surgery.

Kiddwaya's father is wealthy obviously because of his association with politicians. No one really knew how he made his money, but past arrests have shown the possibility of fraudulence, especially money laundering.

Doctors can dabble into other businesses, but what other businesses can make one a billionaire in Nigeria if not politics, or association with politics.

Like I said earlier, your knowledge of the corporate world in Nigeria is limited to your exposure. Peace!

Let me tell you something.

The rich people who can make our doctors rich prefer to travel abroad even for eye check-up.

Only the middle class (like middle tiered civil servants) patronize Nigerian hospitals. How can our doctors practise in Nigeria and become billionaires? It is just not possible.

Even those working in government hospitals don't earn very much, hence the reason for the obvious brain drain in our health sector.

Like I read once, the amount that we lose on medical tourism is very much. So, huge amount of health spendings are made on foreign doctors and in foreign hospitals. Ordinary bed rest, our billionaires prefer to travel to Dubai or London.

Most of you are cocooned in your world completely oblivious of what is really happening in Nigeria.
Your narrative is all about rich people you hear about most in the limelight.
