Murjem:
My dear, I am a dream interpreter so I will help you on this for free.

That could have been a very bad omen had it being you married to her already because it simply means your DEATH!

Now that you are about getting married it means sorrows and hardship will befall you too after the marriage for a woman's hair denotes her husband in the spiritual world and to even think the dream came through the mum makes it a more validated dream, because it could had been better if it was any other person the revelation came through.

But since you are yet to get married to her before the mum had the dream there are still more opportunities for you to perfect things through what ever medium you believe in...

Remember, a problem known is half solved already.

Hmm!

But what if... what if the dream is just an irony of the reality?

Divine validation is important if you are a believer, however it may not always come in a spectular way- like open visions, tranches etc its likely to come as deep seated peace and conviction...

@Salt06,
Of course, I believe in God na!

But, my brother, if it is deep seated peace and conviction like you said, I'm more than convinced with a very very relaxed mind alloyed with peace that she's my wife.

Moreover, I'm not the type of guy that is swayed by "love" or overhype of emotions, thinking it's love... No!

I see reasons to love a woman.

lol op the kind of comments you will get down there from nairaland religion warlords will make you sleep one eyed closed tonight. aswear grin
Truth is that scientifically dreams are basically human mind inventing its own thoughts when the host is asleep.
secondly dont spend your life believing in false prophecies cus your mind and life will be totally controlled by what you you hear and believe.
I know you are religious but most so called PRIEST practices the bible doctrine in a different way thus injecting 5million cubic meter of fear into your soul cheesy
there is nothing wrong with your wife to be,
all the fault is in the religion you practice.
#Emanticipate yourself from mental slavery oh africans!..

@LMS1, I'm not the over religious type, but I believe in God.
Personally, I'm not really bothered if not for my woman.

Truth is that scientifically dreams are basically human mind inventing its own thoughts when the host is asleep.

I agree with you on this your point, sha.

You both can pray about it and cancel any form of death over your lives as there is power in your tongue.

As for divine revelation of spouse; He who finds a Wife has found a good thing and Obtains favour from the Lord. ( Please read this slowly again)

If your girl/ her mum refuses, bro; dnt force it.

@bold, of course, I won't

In the bible When samson lost his Hairs he lost his powers too... So your hair being cut might mean that you have been reduced to a rat spiritually.. you would have to fast and pray for God's power..

2... Yes it is 100% compulsory because if you marry your soul mate then you are likely to have. a fruitful marriage regardless of the odds and challenges

Hmm!

Are you sure your mother inlaw has not seen a better offer for her daughter from another bidder? Whether yes or no; leave her for good to avoid story that touches.

Lol

Even if my girl's mother may have seen another bidder, will she force the bidder on her daughter?

But honestly, I know my girl's mum. She's not that kind of a woman.

I'd urge you to follow your heart and your head. But most importantly your head. Sometimes the irony of a dream might be the case.

In your write up you've mentioned 2 clerics. I'm sure your fiancé, especially her mom is still not satisfied with the answer and she's still definitely going to seek more audience with other clerics. Doing such will make things worse because different clerics with different meaning to things.

You know what's best for you anyways.

Shalom!
@bold, you're very correct.

Thanks anyways.

N/B: This could be a bit lengthy, but please, read to the end.

I have been making preparations since late last year to settle down with my fiancee. I intend going to collect the marriage list this coming April to kick start the marriage processes.

My girl and I are very compatible in almost all ramifications you can think of. Honestly, she's the perfect definition of a supportive wife, well mannered and loyal to the core, just to say a few.

We now lived in different states, but we've known ourselves and have been seeing/dating each other in the same city between December 2016 and September 2019. I even made her to redeploy during her NYSC in 2018, to be close to me because of my intentions for her.

As usual, we've been praying and trying to seek the face of God to get divine revelation.

So on the 9th of this month (March), my fiancee and her mum visited a priest for normal pre marriage talk/counseling. The priest of course asked my girl some questions about me, which she answered sincerely. The priest then advised my girl and her mum to put everything in God's hand and be praying about it.

About a week later (around 16th or so), my fiancée's mother had a dream where my fiancée's hair was cut in the dream. In trying to understand the dream, my fiancee then called her cousin who is a Reverend, and the cousin told her that the dream is a bad dream, that it means "someone is trying to take her glory."

That dream compelled my fiancee and her mum to have two days midnight prayer (19th and 20th precisely) to cancel any bad dream.

Reaching today, my girl and her mum visited the priest again, to let him know about the dream. The priest then asked my girl about her understand of the dream. My girl said it means "widowhood." But my girl's mum was having a different understanding.

In summary, the priest then asked my girl if she had gotten a divine revelation, as to whether we're meant to be husband and wife. My girl said no has not.
Personally, I've fasted and prayed severally to God to show me reasons not to marry my fiancee, but I'm yet to see reasons not to.

Honestly, apart from divine validation which I'm yet to get, I'm yet to see reasons why I shouldn't marry my fiancee. And my girl have been worried since this afternoon, thereby getting me worried also.

Now my questions are:

1.) What does it mean for someone's hair to be cut in a dream?

2.) Is it 100% compulsory that one must get a divine validation to have a peaceful and happy marriage?

Please, your honest contributions will be appreciated.

Mods, please help a brother if this piece isn't in the right section.

And help send it to front page for more response.

Thanks.

It's basically planning future business processes by analysing historical business data. Or more simply put, it involves using enhanced traditional modelling, predictive and sometimes AI tools to discover ways in which existing business practises can be improved upon; like analysing sales data with a view to improving on sales and taking advantage of trends and change in tastes. Also mostly used in investment to analyse and predict stock price and performance movements. Stuff like that. It's a very wide field. The career paths could take you into investment banking, management consultancies, financial management etc. Research it online, you will see a lot of write ups about it.

It would help if you could supplement it with a finance qualification from a recognised chartered institution though; like CFA, ACCA, ICAN etc. There is a business analyst institute as well, where you can obtain business analyst certification: https://www.iiba.org/

I'm not sure how well it is recognized by employers in Nigeria, but it is well known externally; especially in Canada. You can browse through the website to learn more.

Good luck.
Wow!

That's wonderful!

I appreciate.

If you are financially literate, go for business analytics. If not, any field of data science would do. Becoming adept at both is not mutually exclusive.
Thanks Bro.

But can you just summarize what business analytics is all about?

Good morning Nairalanders,

Please I'm really considering acquiring one or two ICT skills this year. I'm thinking of starting it this January. Though, I have a job. And my job gives me time. So I don't just want to waste that time. I really want to improve on myself this time around.

A friend suggest "Data Analyst." But I still want more options, to enable me know which one that best suit my strengths.

May I just highlight some of my strengths, so you could know which of the skills that will be better for me:
1.) Persuasive skill
2.) Risk taker
3.) Good with figures (mathematics)
4.) Good communication skill
5.) Very good at asking the "Why", "How" and "When" questions.

I trust I'll get intelligent advice from here.

Please, any skill(s) you suggest, kindly expatiate including it's demands, opportunities etc.

NOTE: I have Engineering as my first degree, and Project Management (90% completion) as my second degree.

Mod, if this is not the right section, please help me and move it.

Thank you.
