Madam did you use an agent? Or u did it yourself? DabDab: My PPR landed yesterday for a family of 5.
I applied for VV and Study visa for my children on March 30th 2024. My husband already have a study visa.
Please, I want to submit my children passport at Vfs lagos. Do I have to pay the transmission fees in their office when I get there on my appointment date? |

Honeysweetest: De play, you think it's about the millions you pay🤣, some agents are mean. That's why u need to be sure the agency is registered with IRCC... does guys won't even agree to do anything with u if u dont meet up with the requirements... |
Travel › Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Doublej805: 4:50pm On Apr 28, 2024 |
Better agent dey cost... agent wey go make you collect Canada visa starts from millions, you go pay consultant fee... no be brother kola wey go collect 350k.. with fake documents... olasubomy: 1. This question has been answered severally on the thread. However, choosing to use an agent or representative is entirely your decision. You just have to bear in mind whatever is declared in your applicant by the agent would be your responsibility. You are the one the visa officer and CBA officer would hold accountable. Also, what is the agent rationale for asking you to have available $3million as proof of funds?. Please, bear in mind that presenting proof of funds (bank statement) does not end in presentation of the statement in itself. You have to provide back-up of the source of funds. E.g if it is a salary account, the support would be sample copies of payslips to evidence the credit inflows in statement. You have to provide reasonable back-up of the inflows explaining source of funds. Finally, the agent should know that amount to be presented as availability for your stay depends on the province and length of stay.
2. Dont you think doing it yourself will help you take more ownership of your application but choosing to use agent or DIY is your decision. It is a good step attempting to do it yourself for the student route. Just take your time and study the application process more, you would master it in no time but if you must use an agent, make sure they are licensed immigration consultant recognized by IRCC and those guys are not cheap.
3. Based on my experience in Canada in recent times, i would say NO. The economy is going through some challenging phase right now and there are lots of queues for few jobs. Many legal residents are not finding it easy but this is not to discourage you if you want to risk it. Just giving you a glimpsed of what it is looking like presently in Canada. My advice would be work towards Permanent Resident route instead. |

This people you're talking about applied when? This year or last year? uchennay: Now I understand your point but The refusal rate for Canadian tourist visas is currently quite high, especially for individuals without a travel history. An agent I know has even ceased processing Canadian tourist visas and is now only handling student visas, as the risks outweigh the benefits. This agent confided in me that some of his clients have been refused, and because they paid in full due to his previously high approval rate over the last year, he doesn't know how to inform them of the refusal. He has invested their money in some building projects, so he keeps telling them that the visa process is delayed by IRCC. This is reflected in the silence of this group, as most people seldom share details of their visa refusals. Please, if you are using an agent, try to ask for your login because some agent might conceal the refusal due to financial reasons. |

We are saying the same thing somehow, and this is an individual difference, from my end no body that applied January 2024 that hasn't gotten decision... mamawa123: I don’t know where you got that your information from, but the truth is that majority of those who applied late last year (November and December) and this year are still waiting for decisions.
These are the categories of people who are getting faster processing time:
- Those that have valid US visa when their applications were submitted.
-Those that applied before their current Canada visa expired.
- Those who have children in Canada, and their children invited them.
Some other people maybe lucky too, but just only few applicants.
Apart from the above, majority of applicants who applied in November 2023, December 2023, and January 2024 to date are still waiting for decisions. |

Amen ooh, let's just be hopeful, they are responding this year.. I know someone who got approval in just 21days.. nah luck sha.. Tomisyn26: Ircc are responding but I think the rate at which they are refusing applications is much than approval And people are not coming to share because of the rejection God will show us favour no matter what We all will be granted access in Jesus name |

Please how can I come to Ireland through study... Segunagagu: Hi Bro. from experience. as u have mentioned. those two ways are the best and legit way to live in ireland. the easiest one is through the study route. for work, this will depend on your skills, as i have few friends that came through that route. bro i am always tell them they are the luckiest, and i am jealous of them. loool. cos they dont have to do a masters and pay like 13k plus like most of us did.
With the work route, you wont believe there are company that will tell you document any money u spent from the day they started talking you, and they will refund everything to you when you get to ireland. some of my friends got like 12k cashback. u can just imagine that. But like i said, your skill!!!!!. my friends are in the finance, audit, tax industry.
But recently, i heard that the irish govt has open another work visa again for non skilled as well, for carpenters and all these labour jobs too. so its nice. |
