The Speaker and some Members of the Kogi state House of Assembly, yesterday have to scale the fence of the complex to escape being hurt as thugs allegedly hired by one of the principal officer stormed the Assembly complex.

According to eye witness account, one of the current principal officer of the assembly stormed the complex while the sitting was on going, disrupted the sitting on account that the house is yet to be united on serving the Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba, impeachment notice.



The Kogi State Deputy Governor is currently embattled and to be replaced, but the state Assembly is yet to be united on his removal, an action that angered the principal officer, who allegedly stormed the session yesterday, thus making members scamper for safety.

Though the members unanimously in their seperate reactions condemned the action of the principal officer who hails from the Central Senatorial District, some lawmakers however alleged that he is working for the powers that be, lamented the manner and conduct of the lawmaker, describing it as unbecoming in using force and thuggery to achieve his aim most times.

The Kogi State Deputy Governor is alleged to be having a running battle with the governor with efforts by traditional rulers, some prominent political stakeholders in the ruling party in the state to save him failing to yield result.



The Deputy governor since his alleged offence against his boss has been out of official circulation since the beginning of the year, with his salary, that of his wife, his impress, light and water supply to his office stopped and disconnected.

To make matters worse for the Deputy Governor, the Administrator from his area believed to be assisting him with funds since his travails with the governor began was last week sacked, with the State Assembly expected to in yesterday’s sitting begin his impeachment process.

But when the Principal officer got wind that the members are not on the same page with the thinking of those wanting to remove the deputy governor, he was alleged to have mobilized thugs, to disrupt the sitting yesterday, with members scaling the fence for safety.

Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."

Ibaji local government is an igala community situated at the eastern part of kogi state, the people are widely known for their agricultural prowess, they are most often referred to as the food basket of kogi State.
Ibaji people are currently experiencing flood , which has destroyed most of their homes, foods and other basic needs of life..

Well my answer is no, yes I don't blame buhari at all, rather my anger rests on the electorates who have refused to learn that democracy is a government of choice and not an avenue for tribalims, religion or party .

In as much as this government has failed tremendously in delivering its manifestos, many Nigerians who are soaked into "my party syndrome'' , tribe, religion etc, are graciously giving their support to the government.

Buhari !! Is not problem, we are our own problem,
Democracy is the government of the people, for the people and by the people,


If we don't define democracy by our electoral actions, you wouldn't be surprised to see people like buhari, obasenjo ruling us again.

We've better stop voting dumb people all in the name of belonging to a party, democracy is beyond that..
It's shocking to see renounce activist of yesterday , campaigning and running helter scatter for dumb candidates because the person belongs to his or her party..

Though the truth is bitter, we have formed the habits of blaming people most especially our leaders for the various problems in this country...

But come to think of it , what difference will you make if you were to be in their position.
Yes it is true that Nigeria has deteriorated over the years, due to what we understood to be improper management of the country's resources, but it shouldn't be a burden of one man, our leader shouldn't be most often targeted in allocating blames and insults in our failures.

Whether you like or not , this country has failed, we are down, and this wasn't caused by buhari or osibanjo , its our collective faults,..
We have formed this habit of blaming one another if things goes wrong instead looking for away out,..

For those who watch the beautiful game of football you see what players do when their teammate makes mistake that leads to goal, they don't gather to blame him on the pitch, rather they will encourage one another to move on towards achieving their aim as a team....

Any society that always push collective failure to one person has no aim to progress,..
OK, you blame our leader for incompetence, what about you that elects him to be your leader , don't you think you have yourself to blame also ,...
