Let's assume we're talking about our neighbours Niger Republic, a country of 25m population with 93% Muslims. How does your relativity theory stand here and will this lady be an outlier in Niger or a part of the reference population.
The lady in the video is most probably Yoruba. In Yoruba culture, the husband is allowed to beat the wife. So it is for a good number of other cultures in Nigeria. So is she truly culturally an outlier or part of the reference once again?

Since we are delving now into academic territory, do share a reference that clearly states that it is the norm in yoruba culture to beat up one's wife.

A religious ideology of over 2bn people, or a cultural belief of over 200m people can't be reasonably described as outlier except you mean only your beliefs should be accepted as normal

The fact that a belief is shared by millions does not automatically make it the norm. An outlier is defined by its position relative to the reference population, not simply by the absolute number of people who share it. If a cultural/religious practice falls far outside the broader societal norm, then it can reasonably be described as an outlier.


Since we’re delving into socio-cultural variables, let’s start with the woman in the video: what is her culture/relgiion, and does it support domestic violence? Outliers remain outliers, and even more so where the culture or religion itself does not support the behaviour

She an outlier and that's not strange since we can't all be the same. Let's learn to identify outliers please and while we are at it, my top diagnosis here is Stockholm syndrome which is very abnormal. She needs help asap before she becomes a statistic.

There are three types of sex

Chromosomal sex which drives the gonadal sex which in turn drives phenotypic sex.

Anything can go wrong in these pathways as evidenced by the video which showed a male who has some of the features of a female.

A number of diagnoses could explain this but to rule out a whole bunch of them, we must go down to the basics and that is where the chromosomal sex comes in.

I love visiting new places, meeting new people and their cultures etc but if all that means crossing my stress tolerance threshold, I would rather stay at home and watch Netflix.

I don't know of any doctor who will make this sweeping statement. For this index case, noone is certain of its chromosomal sex until a karyotype is done

Everyone is assuming this to be a male who looks like a female whereas this may be a female who looks like a male or both. A karyotype will sort this out

I intepret this to mean someone beating APC at its own game. It's rare for APC to adopt the victim's role. They are typically the aggressors or better put bullies
