zendy: Look man. You are doing the same tbing you are accusing the Igbos of doing.
You accuse Igbos of grabbing the minorities into Biafra.
But you on the other hand have grabbed the same minorities into non existent South/South. What you should do is support a referendum let everyone choose their fate, this 'attach by force' in the name of Niger Delta, south south or Biafra must stop. You guys called us minority right? So how can a minority grab another minority? |

They Kurds have more grounds to have their own State based on common ethnicity, linguistic and culture but the Turkish would not have any of it.
So the Kurds are divided between Turkey, Syria and Iraq. They will not let them have their own state becos they will be too powerful.

Ngozi123: I'm glad that you posted both my question and your answer in a clear format for everyone to see- I'll post it again for clarity. This is my question:
And this is your attempt at an answer:
Let us dissect your answer. We'll delete the second sentence here as it is false and thus invalid.
So, we have your revised answer:
Now, please tell me how exactly this answers my question? This seems more like a challenge of it rather than an actual answer. It's akin to being asked in an examination paper something like "list one feature of Woodrow Wilson's 14 Points" and answering it with "there in fact was no need for Wilson's 14 Points as it was not a significant cause of the The Second World War". It may or may not be correct, in this case it's not, but regardless of that fact, it's not answering the question. Do you understand what I'm saying? I assume that you are either deliberately being simple or you are just being simple. Like i have said, i have given you an answer which you cant obviously see but everyone here has seen it, so if you cant answer mine just say so and stop rigmaroling. |

A commodity that might lose its market value tomorrow, then wat next?
I will remind u that we did not run out of stone before leavingthe stone age, we will not run out of oil either before leaving the oil age.
It might happen sooner than u think with electric cars and bio-fuels. It is no coincidence that the price of oil has been on the decline and will never return to wat it use to be in the 90s and 00s. So how it is your own headache, why swallowing paracetamol for another man's headache.. |

hammerF: Dude, i am ashamed of u to be honest.
U make it sound like NigerDeltans are useless. How can anybody base the unity of a people on oil?
Common sense, dictates that resources divides people and causes war becos of human greed and infinite want to have.
Here u are lumping different groups of people together and saying oil is wat they have in common and it will unite dem.
Cross River is no longer an oil producing state. Benue is about to join the list of oil producing states and maybe borno, does that make dem Niger Deltans?
Ignorance is truily bliss. Hehehe, now you have diverted from the argument to bullshit talk.. We don't want biafra, take your fellow igbo brothers and go form biafra.. Nobody will stop you. |

Ojukwu is highly loved by Ndiigbo and we continued to shower him with love till he died.

hammerF: I challenge anybody to provide a concrete evidence of the existence of a NigerDelta besides the River Niger breaking up into different channels.
They say North is united yet Fulani exterminated the middlebelt christians and terrorise them into submission.
They say the North is united but the Sunni Muslims attempted a genocide on the Shite sec.
They say the North is united but Boko Haram have been attempting to carve out the old Kanuri Borno empire from Nigeria.
Thy say the North is united but more people have been killed in the Christian North violently than the number of people that died from starvation during the Biafra War.
@ dragonking2 I will put it to u that in Nigeria today the most united Tribe are the Igbos.
It take unity to fight Nigeria and the western allies.
It takes unity to sustain an unarmed non violent protest that was globally acknowledge which Nigeria via its Army had to dissolve with violence and murder of unarmed protesters.
Igbo are capable of speaking with one voice and love one another, hence the absence of incessant murders like u have in the North and NigerDelta. We are waiting for the proof.. you all come out to say that igbos speak with one voice and other bullshit...We're was the oneness when ojukwu contested for presiden t and failed woefully that even his own igbos brothers didn't vote for him. |

hammerF: They are not united, everyday in delta state, ijaw, urhobo, itsekiri and ilaje murder each other brutally. This is done everyday, it is so common that it is not on the news.
If u see some of the pics, it is as brutal as wat the fulani do in the north. These ND behead each other based on tribe, land dispute or slightest exchange of words/ provocation as if they were already ready and waiting for an excuse. Mind u sometimes they behead each other for ritual or just the fun of it. They all hate themselves with passion.
Now, put them together with Edo, Bayelsa, Cross River, Rivers and Akwa Ibom? I will leave the rest to ur imagination. Can you give us a recent proof of ijaw and urhobo killing each other. We are waiting. |

Igboid: Igbo unity is unshakable. Even in England, the Southern English consider themselves more "Posh" than the Northerners, those petty sentiments exist in all ethnic nations, even in Israel( Ashkenazi and Sephardim) yet the unity of Israel or England in matters that matter is unshakable. If Ndiigbo consider Anioma less Igbo, Uwaechue( Anioma man from Ogwashiuku) wouldn't have been elected to head the apex Igbo organization for two tenures, Asagba of Asaba wouldn't hold so much influence in Ohanaeze Ndiigbo as he does today, like wise Achuzia and the likes of Emma Okocha. I hear you but where was the unity when a whole ojukwu the hero of the igbos contested the presidential election twice and failed because his own people didn't come out in unity to support him.. it was so bad that ojukwu just manage to get 155,947 votes in 2007 election... This show that the unity amongst igbos is just a fabrication of mere imagination. The reality will always come out to speak. |
Politics › Re: Niger Delta Is Not With Biafra Dokubo Can Give Up Rivers by dragonking2: 12:10am On Feb 11, 2017 |
Ngozi123: Well, you did try to compare them to each other so yes, they would have had to have done something quite similar, if not the same in order to make it a fair comparison. Most pagans in the East voluntarily converted to Christianity in the olden days. Some are being persecuted now it is in no way comparable to the life of Christians and other religious minorities in the North.
Anyway, we digress. You still haven't answered my question properly; I admit that you attempted to when you brought up the oil producing factor but that doesn't actually unite all of the people in the Niger Delta, considering that Cross Rivers is no longer an oil-producing state. Still the same beating about the Bush and rigmarolling stunts..I have given you an answer, whether you like it or not is your own headache... Now try and answer mine.. We are waiting

Igboid: Asha90 and the Rest are Chino's monikers.
Igbo society is highly competitive one. There is competition in family amongst brothers, there is competition between families in a kindred, there is competition between villages that make up a town, there are competition between towns in same LGA. This is what outsiders mis inteprete as disunity. This is up to inter state level.
Yet the East is the peaceful part of Nigeria and Eastern region was the most stable and violence less prone part of Nigeria, because beyond all those competitions, we still respect human lives, boundaries, limits and we still recognize bonds of brotherhood. Yes there have been minor case of clashes like Ezza-Ezillo one, but it is an exception rather than the rule. The Igbo as shown by IPOB and Ohanaeze is a United entity. Keep chino out of it.. The truth are on numerous threads were several igbos have confirmed such division.. I have witnessed it several times with my igbos friends.. I even had one anioma friend who complained bitterly one day to me. He said that whenever he meets his igbos people they shake themselves thrice but shake him twice instead of thrice.. When he complained they jest at him that he is delta igbo and not true igbo.. See another thread of a lady complaining bitterly too..This isn't chino.
