If you have battery problems or want to improve your battery life, Greenify is a handy utility app that will automatically hibernate battery eating apps that linger in the background after you finish using them. Once installed, all you need do is to add the applications you want Greenify to hibernate, when they move to the background, and let the app do what its made for. At any time, you can see the applications that have been hibernated, also the apps running in background, and applications pending that Greenify will manage when you're through using them. Please note that Greenify is not a task killer, "which you shouldn't use anyhow", and also note that Greenify doesn't freeze apps. The apps that Greenify hibernates are still usable if you desire to switch to them, and you can still pass data to them, as though they were running.
