SportsRe: Egypt 2006 Finals: Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe & Senegal in Group D by drbigdaddyg(m): 8:47am On Oct 24, 2005
You know one has a limit. Come to think of it, Super Eagles nko?
If cameroun had got something within them, they had 90mins to express all they had before common Egypt who did not win or draw any match against IvoryCoast both home and away.
You know how we used our own opportunity, 5 goals - 1 against a stronger team Zimbabwe despite divided attention as it was obvious to most of our players that Angolans would win Rwandans; whereas, Camerounians that had only that their match as a determinant and therefore with all their (maximum) efforts could not still win by a goal even with penalty kick given to them.

SportsRe: Egypt 2006 Finals: Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe & Senegal in Group D by drbigdaddyg(m): 8:27am On Oct 24, 2005
Well, from the loss to Egypt (though draw) in the 2006 worldcup qualifying series, I'll say Cameroun will be meat to Nigerians. I can't imagine the fact that Cameerouns worldcup qualification was lying in their hands, they were playing home against Egypt, yet, they could not get a goal above their guest. This will show that they will not do more than the minimum if we have the in the finals even with the quality of players we have.

SportsRe: Germany 2006 without the Super Eagles: how do we all feel? by drbigdaddyg(m): 10:13am On Oct 22, 2005
Well, you guyz have contributed well. Let me just say that Nigeria deserved what happened to her. I can't imagine common Angola going to Germany in our expense. Is very amazing! We have the players, all it takes to go for the world cup, but did not use our senses well.

Is just like when we were grouped for the world cup qualifier, I was very happy seeing the countries (Angola, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Gabon) in our group unlike having tough countries like, cameroun, ivory coast, Tunisia and maybe Morrocco in our group; I never knew that those countries we underrated could be a nightmare. I believe that our poor perfomance was a sequel of poor grouping because, if we had had good teams in our group, it would coerced us into making thorough preparation knowing that we have fight for a win. But, in this case, seeing "what we called" small teams like Angolans/ Rwanda/Gabon, we thought we could just sleep and wake in the morning of each qualifying match and pieces the country to play with. We have seen how possible it is!!!

My only disturbance is that I would have wanted an African country to pick atleast silver medal this time, but seeing the crop of African Countries going for the world cup, I know they (African country) might at most only narrowly escape the first round. Nigeria would have done great in the world cup with quality of players we have but, our problem became we invested for future without settling the core debt (preparing for qualifiers). If we had atleast gate-crashed this one, I don't see the country that would have stopped us this world cup because we know what it is all about and know it means "fight" and can go extra mile for the preparation. Then, those players we were reserving would have come in; of course no player wouldn't want to show his talents in such a big tornament. Don't even be surprise Babayaro would even crawl on his feet to be permitted to play.

I am only saying this to disagree with people who thought with what we played for the qualifiers series, we would have just wasted our funds in the world cup. Is a lie!!! Nigerian players only go for the tough and that is the problem we have. My blames go to Chukwu, he is not a coach, he doesn't have the diplomacy for coaching.

PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by drbigdaddyg(m): 8:49am On Oct 22, 2005
Yeah. I just feel we have not been bothered much with what is happening to us because we have ways of resolving this issue if we are seeking for a better or great Nigeria.
