am a catholic, these money nd tithing is nt clamoured there as it is in most pentecostal churches.i once gave a cheque in my cousin's church as I was invited, till today, the pastor monitors me more than evil spirit nd any function,he calls me too.infact I went to redeem d other day too, they use pos also.i serve God but nt going to any other church nd anytime I feel like, catholic all d way

true, but Catholic chuches always thinks themselves as the only right place to serve God. their discrimination is outstanding. I am making references for Nigerian Catholics.

Do not give up your faith /conviction for a mere mortal that shall pass a way before you finish reading this epistle. @kizyalex10, @DrDeji20 and others sharing same sentiments all I would suggest is that we endeavor to am ourselves with the right/correct information. I remember the Bible says the truth will set you free.
Most of us have been brain washed for so many years with verses quoted of context especially malachi 3:10. But a little study brings out Deutronomy 14: 22-29 and Deutronomy 12: 11-28.
Tell your pastor you will pay your Tithe unfailingly but not to him/her. Tell your pastor you will pay your Tithe as God stipulated in Deutronomy 14:22-29
I suggest you pick a copy of this book (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVZ8W13 ). It really answers lots of questions on Tithe.

the honest truth is that. we as human beings knows the truth and its in our hearts. today churches has lost its orginal path, and once we continue to give ourselves excuses to remain within thier practices. we will only harm ourselves. God made us to live in harmony, to realize we can do what we want so far we are not harming lives in the process. That's the knowledge we need to involve ourselves in and so far. I cannot find that in most churches in Nigeria as at today.

Ouch! "You left Christianity". Is that what you just said? Please come back, Jesus still loves you. Despite the things going in churches today, I think there are still better ways to go around this instead of leaving God completely.

Think about it bro.... wink

Business / Dollar To Crash Further - CBN by DrDeji20(m): 11:06am On Apr 03, 2017
Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Sunday reiterated its determination to sustain the provision of foreign exchange to ensure Naira gains further strength as well as been available to end users.
Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Isaac Okorafor, in a statement said CBN wants to disabuse the notion by market speculators that it wouldn’t be able to sustain its forex intervention.
Okorafor said the bank would again, early this week, inject more foreign exchange into the market, leading to further weakening of the dollar.
“This is in addition to the further increase in the sale of dollars to the Bureau de change operators from $8,000 to $10,000 per week.”
Okorafor warned commercial banks and other dealers to desist from sabotaging the efforts aimed at making life easier for foreign exchange end users.
He disclosed that CBN had received complaints from customers over frustrations in getting foreign exchange for invisible items like tuition fee, medicals, personal and basic travel allowance.
CBN urged the general public to report any bank that failed to meet customers’ needs after due documentation.
The Naira closed at N394 to a dollar on Friday, which translated to 10 per cent depreciation of what was recorded earlier in the week.
The depreciation was attributed to the alleged hoarding of forex by banks rather than selling to genuine customers.

I went to a church close to my house,a pentecostal church, last two weeks nd yestrdy, to my greatest suprise, for the two weeks I attended d church, all that was preached was about tithe.to the extent that d preacher said that donating to the mother less babies home is nt important, that it is an NGO,for close to 45 mins or 1hour d preaching was going on,she never mentioned salvation of which is d main reason for coming closer to God,she went as far as calculating d amount that should be paid.(ie if u make one million,100k should be for tithe)the gross profit not the net. She. Even said other churches don't have God's presence in them, jst few.like their own.that even if u re in abroad or anywhere,u hould always pay ur tithe in ur original church, send it down.dat people who don't pay tithe, their business fails but when u do,it flourishes.thats why u see a pastor living lavishly nd members in penury.sorry to say, religion is the worst thing to happen to Africa. Where people worship their pastors more than God.infact churches have deviated from their main call, which is salvation and then turn it into a business centre.NOTE,this is common in most pentecostal churches.i had to storm out of the church even before the preaching ends.no bashing to penticostals, plz whhatz ur take on this.

I used to be a Christian, but these churches made me left Christianity and I am happy to find a new faith, which made me a better person. Christianity in Nigeria has lost thier objective a long time ago.

parenting is very essential, could be what they saw in the movies. i wonder exactly what the parents of these kids will tell themselves. assuming another parent happened to come across these kids when they are getting inside this vehicle and flogged them. the mother would have been a tiger to the person.

anyway, it's sad. RIP to these kids.

if CBN wants to boost the naira, they need to fight thier corrupt practices, these 20 banks are suppose to be helping not destroying. if the CBN apply more tactics to thier approach, these banks would have not option rather than to comply fully to thier policies.
