The issue here will be disagreement over which region the individual states or people would prefer to belong. Is there going to be a referendum to determine this? You are giving option of Yoruba speaking people of Kogi and Edo to join the South western region without giving the same option for Igbo speaking part of Edo, Delta, Kogi,Rivers, cross river, to join South Eastern region.

Not that I support creation of any state in present day Nigeria because I believe that there are lots of states that are not viable but arguing against creation of Orlu state because you don't want parts of Anambra carved out is you being disingenuous. The LGAs mentioned are a people of similar culture and dialect who have seen themselves as same people within the larger Igbo nation for centuries, and not as Anambra or Imo. They largely intermarry. Please don't bring disunity where there is none just because of an artificial boundary created by politicians and their
collaborators

The truth is that the people of the local governments added to the so called Orlu State have a similar dialect different from other parts of Anambra and Imo. However,I do not support creation of new states rather some states should merge
