Gabrielclint: Pls gurus in the house, if I lodge 3mil into my account once.. will it be a cause for future refusal as I want to re apply next week Bro I would actually advice you get your GCMS file before applying. I'm so sure there was something somewhere that the vo saw in your app that you didn't notice. You can as well get a co sponsor who will stand to support you. But its important you exercise patient and get the GCMS before applying. What is worth doing at all is what doing well. |

advanceDNA: I usually don't go into right or wrong arguments on the Internet, but i'll make an exception since pple need the info....I'm quoting standard information on the website..there are usually department condition which might favour special department applicant. .. ..u have to start emailing admission office to consider.Example is university of Amsterdam strictly ask for teofl or IELTs..but when u begin the application proper for the Department of Biochemistry/ Metabolic dieseases..and some other life science courses eg biotechnology, molecular medicine etc...u get waived for toefl and ielts once u have an undergraduate certification in Biochemistry or biotechnology taught in English..... And this same school Ddnt waive jack for MBA and international management masters courses.
So just cos u got waived For English test doesn't mean it applies to every one...u re d one that shuld be careful of saying what goes for Taiye must roll for kehinde Bro this isn't even about fighting. UNBC will wave English language requirements for you so far you can get a letter from your university that state categorically your English language proficiency. This is what is applicable to NIGERIANS and NOT just me. Besides those schools you are talking about are out of discourse on here for which there are existing threads for. Everyone's got a plan for why they are going to study abroad. Going to study abroad doesn't mean people don't have what they are doing here. This is a decision strictly based on individual plan irrespective of the cost here or abroad . And we are not even going to fight here coz we are all trying to help anyways. |

Something must have been wrong somewhere. How much is your total school fees ? How many years program? Undergraduate or post graduate? Did you provided the evidence of $7600 payment you made? WESTERNCR: Please house I need your advice on this issue. A friend just got his trv approved and his school deadline to resume is 13th which the school is not ready to grant any extension. The problem now is that the school has refused to grant him an extension of time but can only defer his admission to fall 2017. He has another offer from Conestoga College and they are willing to grant him extension of time. Can he use the second college to travel since the original college which he used to secure trv is not willing to grant extension? Please go ahead to notify CIC about your intention to change your school. Get the offer letter and proceed to Canada with it. At poe , show them the new offer letter and not the old one. You can't enter Canada with offer letter whose resumption deadline is over. Please don't cause any confusion with the old letter. Changing of school after approvals is legal and acceptable. |

honeyscottage: My gurus in the house, please assist me ooooo.
As advised, I want to make use of my school as sponsor for my master's program in education but the school account is currently in balance of 878'000 and total credit inflow of 11m within 6 mths . Also have another school in my area that i can use their account with balance 9m and total credit inflow of 32m.
My questions,
While applying for the school, I filled self sponsor on the school site.please can I still make use of sponsor and won't that effect my visa application if I make use of sponsor.
Can I make use of my school or the second alternative.
If it is the alternative, kindly advise me on the kind of relationship that I can claim while using the account statement because I don't have any relationship with them but thy just want o assist me with their statement. Thank you. Probability of your approval will be quite low using any of the schools as your sponsor considering what we witnessed on using company as a sponsor. Best bet is get the proprietor/proprietress of the school to sponsor you using their personal account and you must have to also provide a convincing proof of relationship and reason they are sponsoring you. |

Futurewiser: which school waived it for you? Did you finally get the admission? Did you have to secure supervisor before applying? . UNBC, though I eventually got my admission with some other schools applied. I didn't have to secure supervisor. |

I am trying to avoid Embassy wahala for me sister to avoid purpose of visit issue It is advisable you go away from that course. Stick to your Computer science and get your trv. |

advanceDNA: Nope..they don't waive ooo.infact they won't take the scores from u tru uploading on application page u have to pay another 11dollars to the body weda IELTS or toefl to send ur test score directly to dem.
Anyone I'm processing admission for, I advice dem to get the bloody toefl done jare..it opens more oportunities..imagine northern British Columbia charging tution around 4,000 cad except fo their MBA dat tuition is around 7,000 cad which isn't even up to 2million......a lot of UK schools waive English language test for Nigerians..there school fees is just too high....just do it and get it over with.seiz the oportunity now b4 they will increase school fees. For example,A whole lot of German University don't charge tution for both indigenes a international...but I saw info on UNI-Assist portal that international masters applicant might start to pay from 2018/2019 session....so seize the opportunity while it's still available WRONG. ....They waived English test for me when I applied. Though you have to apply and mail them an evidence that your previous education were in English Language. Please let's be sure before giving answers to any question to avoid misleading people. |

olatuns2016: @toluene1234 tanx...guru in d house...kindly advise.... a graduate of economics( 2.2) n applied 4 logistic n supply chain management at GBC
Sumarize docs Acceptance later from gbc programme advanced diploma Receipts of $7, 630 paid as acceptance fee Personal acount 2m Sponsor parent 33m Appointment letter frm office; operation unit Land property parent police clearance Upload medical Online application Ielts SOP Age 34 ....Etc Reason for refusal is 1) travelling history 2) purpose of visit 3) vo do not tin I will return to nigeria after study I will like to re apply but my agent advised I go for masters in same course instead of advance diploma because of my age n my bsc.....pls is age barrier for pgd im getting cic approval?...i need candid advise....thanks.can sb explain reason (2) puropse of visit? Sorry for you delay broad. Please don't waste your time and mony to reapply with the course again . I also studied Economics and I can't see any relationship between Economics & Supply Chain Mgmt, unfortunately your agent won't know or tell you. Also, the last life saver that you could have used for your app was your JOB EXPERIENCE in a Supply Chain related coy which unfortunately I can't see any where you submitted anything with respect to your employment based on your profile above. My advice for you is to calm down and get a course that is related to Economics and your job experience. Your age to a great extent wasn't the problem so far you can explain in terms of documentary evidence what you ve been doing since graduation. Regards |

AAOL: Hi munezsanti. I am not a lawyer but I feel your case is somehow different from wasiu's case. WASIU indicated that he was not refused USA visa whereas you left the space blank on your form. U can claim innocent misrepresentation here and hence no strict penalty. @wasiu, kindly respond to this issue with all seriousness and take it like its a big chance to prove your integrity. All the best Just like we ve always said on here, their cases were similar but the UNIQUE FACTOR here was that their apps was treated by two separate individuals. What Mr A overlook might be a serious offence to Mr B even irrespective of the fact that they are guided by the same rules. VO uses their own discretions to arrive at certain decisions lot of times. I think Wasiu should just give a simple explanation without telling lies or complicating the issue and pray about it. Saying you use an agent don't forget will open you up to another offence of failing to disclose the use of an agent towards the end of the form. Regards. |

Osemigho: Please, can US Visa lottery not won be regarded as visa denial? Bro no need to complicate your application, you are not required to declare any visa lottery attempt so far you were never selected from the pool. Even USA only maintain the info of only those that made it to the next round of the visa lottery. |

ebimila: thanks for the response. I'm going for HRM pg@CONESTOGA. Qualification is a LLB (law) aged 40 (hope this isnt a red flag) Bro, I'm not a vo, but l easily can points one or two red flags on your profile. A lot have been said on here as regards the risk in PGD in HRM for someone who don't have either a qualification in HRM or working experience in HRM. Without repeating what has been said, if this is the only course you think you can do may be by the virtue of your result or something, your best way to tackle the purpose of visit is to provide as many as possible, convincing evidence of your previous job experience that is directly in HRM. Or else, You may want to try another course that is closely related to your degree. However, which ever course you decided to put in for, you have to back it up with a good no of years of working experience. This is important as an explanation for the gap in education considering your age. You also will have to give a very tangible reason on why you have to get the qualification at this stage of your career. So all in all, providing good evidences (most especially for your working experience) and a very convincing SOP can do the magic for you. I hope this helps |

ebimila: Good day friends, please i plan to reapply for study visa which was recently turned down. Reasons given were: 1) Purpose of visit 2) Family ties in home country and in canada (whatever that means). Requested for gcms notes but trying to work on SOP at the interim. Please i need an expert in house to help review my efforts so far. Not so certain how to end it and whether to make reference to the fact that i was refused previously.
Please someone should help me out. God bless. Its difficult to offer you any advice without knowledge about your profile, what program were you going for? What's your qualification? Is there any relationship betw your qualification/experience with your intended program? If its undergraduate, how old are you? These are some of the issues that bring about purpose of visit. Do you have to tell the house so that one can know from which perspective they would tackle the vo's reason. |

HLion: Good day nd happy new year guys..please am intending to apply for an undergraduate degree at University of Victoria...i'd like to knw if NGN an be converted to CAD directly without going through dollars nd where can i get them...also pls i'd like to knw if its possible for me to do some little jobs there to substain myself...Please a quick response would be highly appreciated You don't need to buy CAD coz actually no one will sell CAD for you. What bank sell for you is USD. I don't know what you paying for, if it is school fees, you either buy USD straight from the bank or you open a Dom account , buy usd from aboki or anyone and deposit it into your Dom account. As regards sustaining yourself with little job, ofcourse you can, in as much as that's not where you intend to source all your tuition fees. You can always have your 20hrs/week job but I can bet you that's just for "sustainance" like you mentioned. I hope this help |
