Political science and the combination of jamb are English, CRS, Lit and Government but on the portal it was just English, Maths, Government, Economics, History, Commerce, and some irrelevant subjects
Does she have the subjects Unilorin is asking for in her O'level result? That is what matters

During the registration, there is something like type in Four(4) O'Level Equivalent Offered in JAMB and One (1) other Relevant subject. Now are we to type our jamb subject with grade or just 5 o level subject? You guys might not understand what am saying.Let me explain further.Let take this for example now, a person is going for sociology and the person did english, maths, econs, and govt in jamb but the person did not have economics in olevel should the person still type in economics and the grade in the space provided because the person did it in jamb or what do you guys think? Moreover, the five subject for the person course is English, govt, maths, commerce and any other subject where economics is not compulsory. What should the person do? is it that the person should type in economics or what? The question above is for everybody to answer.Just need peoples opinion concerning it.....Thank to you all as you reply.

plz plz plz friends, i joined dis forum because i bliv dis is d final place to get d right encouragement nd answers to my problem.

plz, i just gained admission to study English Language and Literaturenin uniben (2015/2016 session) now my problems are as follow:

my jamb subject combination was:
ENGLISH
LITERATURE
GOVERNMENT
CRS.

My SSCE subjects were:
MATHS C5
ENGLISH C5
ECONOMICS C5
CRS C5
LITERATURE C6
COMMERCE C5
AGRIC C5
BIOLOGY -CANCELLED.

now d problem is i didnt write government in my above listed NECO result. during my jamb reg, government was mistakenly added to my oda three subjects of which i didn't do in ssce.

now i hv been offered admission by both UNIBEN and JAMB to study d course. am a bit scared dunno if d issue of no government in ssce will affect my clearance procedure.

plz ur answer is BADLY NEEDED!.
thanks nd God bless u!
You have no problem with that when Jamb subject requirement tells you to pick any social science subject, then just ensure its social sci. The same goes for your O'level. It's not necessary u have d subject in both Utme & O'level. Inasmuch you have credits in subjects the requirement stated

Education / Re: Can Reading Too Much Make One Run Mad? by dreyposh: 1:08am On Jun 18, 2016
A man's brain contains over 14billion cells in it- If you aquirre the knowledge of this world from its very beggining to it present, there will still be room for more. That's the power in that God's gift to humanity called BRAIN. No man has ever used 1/4 of it. Reading never makes a man insane, but abuse of the brain can make a man insane- if a man keeps reading when the brain is signalling for a rest is an abuse of the brain. (Taking smokes, hard drugs and d likes too are forms of abusing the brain which can also lead to insanity)
You should know your learning/reading skill, this helps to identify when to rest. But you gotta be honest to yourself, so won't give room for laziness becos under-usage of the brain as well is an abuse of the brain which leads to ignorance, ignorance is highest form of insanity cos an ignorant man is not much better than a madman.

I was looking at the possiblities of having unnecessary people in your life when you keep too many friends. A few good friends are better than too many friends flocking around...some would wreck havoc in your life. As regard your second criticism, I am not saying all the people who kept few friends ended well but what I emphasized on was the fact that majority of the people I knew who kept many friends and were very popular didn't end well...mind you, not all of them. There's always an exception in most cases! cool
.
Excellent explanations you gave there. Kudos!
I am not sure if my earlier comment sounded like a criticism as you referred it. I don't mean to criticise your article but rather to point out exceptions & other possibilities as commented.

Well, you pointed out "not to have much friends", quite a good advice. As much as i want to totally agree with u, i have to point out this- A man who is naturally a sagiune would always have many friends, that's God's make_up of him. Sangiunes don't achieve their purposes? Then, u said most of d guys u knew back then who kept many friends didn't end well but you didn't tell us if the guys u knew back then who never kept much friends ended well. Good job though!
