Being in a very good player category is a spectrum. So one can be better than the other and still be in the same class.

That said, Saka is above Palmer based on pedigree but not form. He has been putting in very good stats for the past 4 years while this is Cole's first year in the limelight.

But is Saka world class? Not yet. He needs to demonstrate more consistent quality in the big games to enter that bracket.

Is Palmer world class? Way too early to say so. For now, he's just a Kudus that takes more penalties.

If he delivers this current level for the next 4-5 years, then he'll be WC.

Saka simply makes his team better. You don need to win anything to make you a world class player. Being worldclass is an individual traits not collective efforts. Saka's performance against France 🇫🇷 at the last World Cup is better than every complication of Palmer so far.

Neither he nor Palmer are worldclass yet. They need to do more. Palmer has to replicate a season like this and Saka has to win something tangible. The potential is there for both.

Randomly decided to check the Championship table cause it's been a while since I last did so and omo, I was shocked. This impending Leicester bottlejob will be crazy.

They were double digits clear of second place at one point in the second half of the season, but their lead has been trimmed to one point by Ipswich Town, albeit Ipswich have played one more game (40 to 39). Leeds are now just two points away with same no. of games played as Leicester. Even fourth placed Southampton are still in with a chance with 77 points from one less game played (38).

7 games left in the season means plenty of time left for more drama.

Modified: Ipswich and Southampton currently playing. Soton were leading as at when I posted this but Ipswich have equalized, so for now they're level on points at the top.
