See, Amorim is at United today simply because he was very close to Hugo Viana that City had hired to replace Txiki as Sporting Director. Then his agents put it in the news that City's ultimate plan was to lure Viana and consequently Amorim to the City job. United rushed in to get Amorim and the rest is history.

Imagine how insulting it would've been for me to come to tell people Amorim isn't being considered by City. That's how I feel about the people who think Maresca was ever in the running to replace Pep.

Again, Pep's current contract ends Summer 2027. Except City fires him, Pep will not leave a contract he has signed. He's said it from Barca till date. He has said it recently again. Yet people ignore it just to post nonsense.

It bears repeating, Pep will not leave his contract till Summer 2027 upon which he'll decide if he wants to extend or just walk. This is what he has been doing since 2019. Extend for 2 years and after that extend again.

Nobody at City is looking at Maresca. Jorge Mendes is using City to generate buzz for his client. This shouldn't be a hard read.
