All models with both Chinese and global versions were once in this stage. With time, chances of getting a vendor Rom flashed will be almost zero.

In summary, for now, if global rom is a must for u, buy global version.

@emmkid I tell anyone with a Xiaomi phone that when your phone has an hardware issue I can't recommend any one to help because it's a 50/50 chance.
