From my observation Kelechi is a confidence player. The deterioration of his ability when he is lacking in confidence is more significant than for most other players. To build confidence though you need a good run in the team, not 10 mins this week 20 mins 2 weeks later etc. In 20 (TWENTY) of those 87 games you mentioned he had 10minutes or less on the pitch!! He has never been given a proper run in any team in his career. That being said his goals per minute in all competitions overall so far in his career is indicative that he has something special. He needs to move to a club where he is the main man, starting week in week out over a season THEN we will be in a better position to pass judgement.

Look at Timo Werner and how much support he's getting to get firing. How many minutes did Salah and Lukaku get at Chelsea before they were offloaded? Those are excellent examples of what happens when a player is not given genuine chance and support before being labelled a 'mouse'.

my guy I love where this argument is going but pls if you are coming from the performance of EPL and la liga teams in ucl and europa league, I think you are fighting a list battle because la liga are miles ahead of EPL when talking about european competitions...

I agree agree with you that La liga teams are better than EPl in possession football. Infact, they have always been better in that regards. It's EPl that is getting better at it recently. The Leicester than won the Pl in 2015 did so by packing the bus and blistering counter. That isn't their style of play now. Sheffield, Aston villa, Fulham who are minors play good possesive football. Now with your claim about UCL, I think you shot yourself by mentioning the CL. All laliga teams qualified, how many topped their group? Only maldrid which was even share luck because they would have been dumped to europa on their last day. Now all EPL teams topped their groups save Man u who messed up their chances when they could have won Instabul and go top. you're rigth! think it's the style of football played in EPL. It has been more of kick and rush with less technicalities unlike laliga where little teams understand football.
