Nope u must hv a minimum of Bsc. to qualify for D.E for medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry. bt u can go for med. lab., optometry, med. rehab., radiography etc

minimum of Bsc to qualify for D.E into MBBS? maximum of what? And wats all d hype abt medicine?

Dont mind my questions. Am only asking because a frnd of mine recently shocked me when he confided in me, here's d situation:

He wantd Medicine but ended wit physiology,came out with a 2'2...cldnt get D.E because of d 2'2, now doing his postgraduate studies in Public Health (MPH). but he claims he stil doesnt feel fulfilled. he wants to get back to med sch thru D.E. wch he cldnt get into because he had a 2'2. Question is, wit MPH can he b considered for D.E? sounds wierd to me. havnt hrd of any1 goin for D.E wit masters, been trying to talk him out of it and towards PhD,but dude no send. Any ideas?

i think you are elligible provided u v a grade which is not less than 2-2. U'll also v to prepare well for the departmental test cos u'll be competing wt so many drs who r used to the pattern of questns u'll be asked ryt from there undergrad days. I can assure dat u can beat dm all if u prepare well. Looking forward to seeing u @ d dept next session.

hav a Bsc in anatomy from uniben....tried endlessly thru DE.....currently doing my mph in ibadan,but still not satisfied.

I graduated since 2009 wit a 2.1. I'm done wit nysc sincee 2011. Been looking 4 a job and confused abt wat 2 do in Msc. I applied 4 direct entry in2 uniben 4 medicine. Just wrote d exam last week. am not really sure bro...but wld confirm by wednesday. was at UCH last week and a staff there told me its only my dept dats yet to start lectures under MPH.

Mcbussy: I've paid my tuition and I didn't generate any unique number. I went back to d registration portal and d 1st thing I saw was health record form.

what should I enter at d column for "contact person"?...is it like next of kin?

@mcbussy...yeah,could be ur next of kin or ur family doctor. Anybody who knows ur health history well enough incase of any "health emergency" in the future.

all dept for MPH hav started lectures except mine(preventive medicine) what dept are u in sir? and have u started lectures?
