Another awesome update. So I opined getting deals on Facebook without restriction of distance through the “Buy Now” option. Seller will ship to you and Facebook manages the transaction. You pay through Facebook and get your tracking number for delivery to our Premium address if you subscribe to it.

The $121 laptop I posted was delivered today. And it’s being shipped to buyer in Nigeria.

NB: Do not pay anyone cos PayPal or cashapp. Verify sellers profile by reading reviews. Got with at least 25 positively reviewed seller.

Legit phone offers I saw were mostly around $150 and above. Add cost of pickup and delivery, money don pass 100k with the current exchange rates.

Offerup lost the rhythm although you can still get decent deals. Most items advertised on offerup are on arbitrage I.e people buy cheaply from other places to resell. So many folks on offerup are resellers themselves. As things stand, Facebook and Mercari provide us with unique profitable solutions.

For those that talk about selling fast… just post online and your item will go in less than 4 days. This is a practical thing and I have had people under my belt before this thread.

Barter card exchange rate is ridiculous. It’s usually N30 more than the BDC rate. Aside that it’s easy to use and works on major platforms.

It is sad that you have to experience that. As much as going the importation route looks like a ‘long-thing’ I feel it’s still the best when it comes to gadgets. I was surprised when I helped one of the merchs at computer village buy two pieces of iphone8 which were factory unlocked clean and in pristine condition…. He repackaged them and sold as new.

There are ways to get your items directly from USA and a free guide is available in my signature.
