Reiterating The Big Platforms

I have noticed folks keen interest on Facebook marketplace. The plus with Facebook marketplace is you are able to search deals from anywhere around the world just by changing your search location. So if we go by stats, 90% of us are going with Facebook marketplace. With this I am emphasizing not just focusing on a single portal. There are deals on all major ecom websites.
Watch out for holidays like Father’s Day Mother’s Day, Black Friday, thanksgiving and see how much discounts these big players are putting on regular pricey items. eBay, Mercari, Amazon, BestBuy all have deals.

Latest holiday is the Labor Day!

This is a very good question. As someone on the ground ensuring that deals are closed… we encounter so many issues. Just last week I was trying to pick an iPhone 12 Pro Max 512gb from a seller. The phone was in pristine condition but that’s not enough to just give the cash. I checked the imei and ‘unfortunately’ it popped up. Went extra to check the phone status and other things and I found out it is a clone! Told the seller who was pretending she didn’t know straight that it’s not the original version. So when you spot a deal it’s on us to check for the originality before paying.

Baba I can do Chicago and it’s not so easy recommending people. Chicago is a massive city with great deals.

Of course there are way cheaper deals with Autos… you will need to factor in your shipping cost and clearance in Nigeria. If the car drives good and with little or no issue it’s an excellent deal.

Buy now items are to be shipped to your delivery address. It’s is painful that most of them are scams. So the way to go is after agreeing a deal with a seller that allows local pickup, shoot me a message.

You can filter your search for local pickup only deals.

I've been playing around on Facebook Marketplace. To be honest, the prices are cheap in dollar but our exchange rate is terrible.

Got an offer for a PS4 with 2 controllers and 6 games for $200. I got some nice watches too, but when price is converted to naira, I think it's on a high side.

Can't wait for the OP's on how to get the best exchange rate so I place my first order. I'd like to test this as soon as possible.

Nice job there! Our goal as importers to maximize profit is to get cheap exchange rate and shipping. We would not be going the route of owning 5 Naira debits card just to be able to spend $500 monthly. It is no news that government policies stifle entrepreneurship. Currently I am working on getting us stable and reliable deals on forex. Just join the platform to be added to the group.

Boss, let me take the iPhone Xr from this seller. He is selling at 155k. Most of the Xr on this sellers platforms after checking price of phone and shipping you'll see that you cant resell the phone because it's expensive.

I'm surprised where this guys get this super deals from yet they are still making profits.

When we stated this thread I know a lot of people would be put off by the capital requirements. Nobody starts big, folks you see posting 10s of items weekly started probably by importing a unit of powerbank. There is huge money to be made in this niche.
