Look at the map and suggest how that will ease commuting time. And any road would not be traffic free at peak time. 2hrs every morning and evening is hardly a solution to anything
I think you didn't get the point.

First of all I am not advocating for GRV, I only try to see what he is planning.

Secondly, my point was that the long route is not a replacement or even an addition but rather an alternative.

A longer route though inconvenient but offers a less jam of traffic.

I'll rather take a two hour drive home, than spend four hours on a shorter route. Also, it's not like everyone will travel the entire route, some will stop on the way.

The 4th mainland bridge makes more sense than going to Epe first then connecting to VI from there. Makes no absolute sense.
That sounds true but a two hour drive helps break traffic jam than a ten minutes one.

The idea is to control traffic jams

they refused everyone access while they went into configuration to wipe out the foot prints that even a child now understands they rigged elections and now trying to cover their foot prints forgetting that they more they wipe out foot prints the more they create evidence of their rigging
Well they swore an affidavit to provide authentic certified tru copies to the parties involved. So if there are any traces of data loss, the court will arrest INEC chairman, and the parties can call for either a rerun or a total cancellation of the elections.

The parties can also bring their own data and demand that it be accepted by the court since the electoral umpire has deliberately destroyed the true copies

This 4th mainland bridge cost is not just you dropping planks over gutter to construct a Desmond Elliott masterpiece, you have to make the access roads to the bridge itself

Now imagine on a regular morning best case scenario it's 2hrs. Now factor things like rains, unruly drivers, and having to pass through major towns like Ikorodu Epe, Ibeju where more people will join the traffic and create more traffic so we are looking at about 3hrs drive one way to work every morning and 3hrs back at night

This is supposed to be a workable solution. You see why Monday morning quarterbacks have the easiest career because you don't have to get on the field. Just type it on 120 word limit Twitter and there you have the solution that Accenture, McKinsey, top construction companies charge millions to get.
I think the plan by GRV is to create alternative routes that commuters can use in order to decongest the main route.

It can be preferred for some to spend two hours free drive on the alternative than four hours on a traffic jam on the main route.

The question is, where is even the old notes?
There are old notes still with the commercial banks. They give them out but refuse to accept them. Hence people are reluctant to accept them from customers.

The government has to get involved and make the banks accept old notes as deposits, this will give business owners like Filling Stations the confidence to accept the notes.

INEC knew if they had done BVAS sowore would have won emilokan so Mahmoud decided to cash out from the old senile man
One thing is clear, Mahmood cashed out from Tinubu. The idea to block the server was contrived days earlier starting from when the former ICT director was transferred. The rumour spread only for Mahmood to make a press release assuring all that all is well. He even went to Chatham House to assure the world of the transparency of BVAs. The fool ended up disgracing himself and not Nigerians.

You need to see how INEC panicked when the court gave the order to inspect BVAS. I am sure that by the time they are through, we will hear more stories. I am sure that they will tamper with the information and give us more stupid excuses of fake glitches.

INEC is useless.

Logically speaking, if Tinubu lost in all his major strongholds where his key men are governors or campaign men- Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Osun, Plateau, FCT, etc it showed that his rigging machinery were mostly deployed in states where he felt he needed it most - Rivers, Benue, Ekiti, Akwa Ibom, etc.

All these are mere insinuations until the forensic analysis are concluded.

ANALYSIS OF STATISTICS OF VOTES:

An open and objective minded evaluation of these information if true should throw up something.

Did you know that if you remove Bola Tinubu's total vote of 2,279,107 gotten from Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Ekiti States from his total votes of 8,794,726, Bola Tinubu will still be left with 6,515,619 far higher than Peter Obi's total votes of 6,101,533.

If we remove the total votes of 1,362,556 that Bola Tinubu scored in Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun and Oyo State (where he won in the South West) from his total vote from across the federation, he would still have 7,432,170 votes left to beat Atiku's 6,984,520 and Bola Tinubu would still have 25 percent in 25 states to still be declared the winner of The February 25 Presidential Election!*

*Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Victory clearly shows him as a detribalised Nigerian that scored 25 percent of the total votes in 29 states of the federation."*.... Dr. Dahunsi Akins ✍❗
Tinubu won 3 Geopolitical regions SW, NW & NC.

Obi won 2 Geopolitical regions SE & SS

Atiku won 1 Geopolitical region NE

Please for those of you pushing the narrative, that Obi was rigged out, kindly check this out.

*In the North West,*
Tinubu scored 2,653,235
Atiku scored 2,329,802
Obi scored. 350,188

*In the South West*
Tinubu scored 2,279,407
Atiku scored. 941,941
Obi scored. 846,478

*In the South East*
Tinubu scored. 127,605
Atiku scored. 91198
Obi scored. 1,960,589

*In the South south*
Tinubu scored. 799,957
Atiku scored 719,908
Obi scored. 1,210,673

*In the North East
Tinubu scored. 1,185,458
Atiku scored. 1,741,851
Obi scored 315,108

*In the North central
Tinubu scored. 1,670,091
Atiku scored. 1,087,884
Obi scored. 1,133,840

Please where is Obi's path way to the Presidency?

Tinubu won the plurality of votes in the NW ,NC and SW

Tinubu was second in votes scored in SE, SS and NE.

Copied
The entire piece of shit you put up there is the reason they are in court. They want to see the results uploaded on the BVAS to get to an informed conclusion. Even Tinubu wants to see the BVAS data. That speaks a lot because if he is as convinced as you are he would not even bother to ask the courts to grant him access.

Let the forensic audit be carried out and if he won free and fair, no problems.

This whole issue is because of the incompetence, failure and lack of integrity and transparency from INEC. The shameless commission and it's useless chairman has just wasted resources both in the conduction of the elections and in the court actions.

KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT

PRESS STATEMENT

PERSONS AND BUSINESSES THAT REJECT OLD NAIRA NOTES WILL BE APPREHENDED AND PROSECUTED

1. We congratulate Nigerians on the historic ruling of the Supreme Court, the highest court in Nigeria, to the effect that both the old and new naira notes remain legal tenders until December 31 , 2023 when the old notes will cease to be legal tender. What this means is that both the old and new naira notes can be accepted for the purpose of transacting business till the end of this year.

2. The reason the Kogi State Government joined other State Governments in the country to pursue the case was to ease the hardship occasioned by the unavailability of the new naira notes, which the court fully granted.

3. It is therefore unacceptable that some persons and businesses will continue to reject the use of the old naira notes, even after the court judgement validating their use. Rejecting the old naira notes is a clear disobedience of the Supreme Court ruling.

4. Anyone who rejects the old naira notes should be reported to security and government authorities for immediate action. Also, banks that refuse to accept old naira deposits shall be sealed as the State Government will not accommodate financial institutions that willfully disobey court orders, moreso, the orders of the highest court in Nigeria.

5. Kogites should note that since the banks are issuing the old naira notes, they are bound to also receive it. We cannot continue to kill our economy after the Supreme Court has granted us freedom. The State Government has therefore set up a high-powered Committee to ensure full adherence and compliance to the ruling of the Supreme Court.

6. Members of the Committee are the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning; Commissioner for Information and Communications; Commissioner for Commerce and Industry; the State Security Adviser and the Managing Director, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency. The Committee is to ensure that our people take full benefits of the Supreme Court ruling on the old naira notes and ease the hardship they have been subjected to by the policy that brought so much hardship to the people.

Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications

This is the main time they should even fight because they now have the right to do so. This is the time they should be calling for the resignation or sack of Emefiele. This is the time they should be having press conferences asking people to go about and transact with the old currencies without fear. This is the time to even bark louder. But alas...

I think it's Wolves(first leg) you're referring to instead of Watford. But then that's not a direct example because we were leading 1-0 and had a red card, so it's logical for us to defend. It would have been different if Wolves had the red card and still pressed us with our 1-0 lead throughout the 2nd half.

And yeah, I understand the mental strength, Liverpool have it in ounces but it would have been difficult without the right tactics
Tactics means a lot, but in games like that, it's the mentality that speaks loudest.

First matches are difficult and to be fair to the team, getting the W against a difficult Palace team requires good mentality. I will wait to see more games before concluding the team's over all mentality has improved from last season, especially our attacking mentality.

Palace could easily have gotten a result from us yesterday and the conversation would have been different but they were unlucky in 2 situations.

But yes, the W was the most important thing and we got it. I look forward to an improved performance against a better Leicester side.

My thoughts on yesterday's game

1... Special thanks to our awesome start. The first 15-25m, I thought we were prime Barca. The way we pressed, applied pressure and attacked was a joy to behold. So sad we couldn't maintain it for long period of time as crystal palace started dictating play from then on but at least it set the template of how we might want to play this season. Nice!!!

2.. One thing I love about our first goal is the creativity in the corner. It happened against Everton (last match of the season — Cedric goal) and now it's repeating itself. I love it when teams are creative with set pieces(freekicks or corners) even if it's just once per match as we're doing. When perfectly executed, it's mostly a goal up without much stress. Yesterday's game might either be a draw or lose if not for just that well-crafted creativity.

3... Big ups to Ramsdale for keeping us twice in the game. Even though he was jittery during the first half but he grew into the game and helped secured the clean sheet.

4.. There's the air of confidence Saliba brings in that backline. Calm and composed. His speed in sniffing out attack and reading of the game is joy to watch. It's no wonder when Arteta made stationed him at the centre (mostly the leader at the back)

5... Odegaard was anonymous ystdy. Even when we had good spells, he was somehow anonymous. And the jersey didn't help as it was almost his skin colour (just kidding) grin

6... Great game ystdy from the guys. Not good displays overall but good 3 points needed

Coyg!!!
Most big teams will lose their first match when away to small teams. I have seen clubs just coming from Championship who beat defending champions in their first games and still got relegated.

I congratulate the team for holding on. Hopefully we will get better as the season wear on.

Baba, after watching Palace last season, I knew Vieira is a decent coach. He knows how to set his side. He is also doing this on a thin budget. They easily could have gotten a result from this game if they were more clinical.

I hold the same position about White, especially about defending a player like Zaha, however, it is only for the first half because he was a mess in the 2nd.
White doesn't have the pace to match Zaha hence his credit. It's not easy marking Zaha o.

We have broken the jinx of the away team always losing on the first game of the season since Friday nights began in the past 5years.

I don't think Liverpool have been weaker with the sale of Mane, if for anything I believe they're stronger. Diaz have been balling since last season and even if Nunez doesn't hit the ground running immediately, they still have Jota and Firmino to play there(as they've always been). Watch out for Cavalho and Elliott cos I see one of those two breaking into the first team

I agree with your thoughts on Man city. They look considerably weaker. I was surprised looking at their bench in community shield and the top players there were just foden and gundogan. Except they sign qualities, else I'm tipping Liverpool for the league

Tottenham are the dark horses here. Heaven knows those people are frightening due to their coach and with the kind of squad depth they have, it even makes it more frightening for us. There's a way Conte might get his acts together and who knows, Spurs might contend for the title too— sad to say.

I share same thoughts with you on Man u too. Unless they sign, their squad depth is poor and they'll need Ten Haag to be supremely good in tactics to be in top 4 contention. I'm tipping them out this season personally.

I'm confused about Chelsea Tbh grin. While they are a very good side but their attack is still not there yet. I feel they'll be more in top 4 fight with arsenal and tottenham than being contenders. And something is also telling me that if they don't get their acts right, they might miss out on top4

Arsenal have the quality depth and first team to be in top4. If we lose out, we only have ourselves to blame and no-one else. Looking at our team, I'm still marvelled how we have almost quality for each position. Transfer window isn't over yet and I'll love to see who we're getting in before it closes
Thanks for the response.

Diaz was part of Liverpool last season so doesn't count as a new signing. Nunez is a direct replacement for Mane, and I felt Mane is better hence the weak verdict. However I understand like you said, things can change especially with Cavalho etc.

BBC pundits prediction

Seems most people are tipping us for top4 this time

4th and not more than that to be specific grin
I think the majority had the top 4 last season as their overall prediction. But I don't give to much attention to what those guys at BBC predict. I think they are the worst set of pundits in football media.

Let's do a comparative analysis of our top rivals and their recruitment this summer as we discect the possibilities of making top 4.

Here's my view

MAN CITY
I think that losing Sterling and Jesus will affect their momentum a bit, especially at the start of the season because both have been quite integral in their set up, and both are still very much active. Their addition of Harland and Alvarez overall may not bring an immediate improvement to their squad. However, they are still favourites by far.

LIVERPOOL
Losing Mane will be a huge blow for them. And just as City, his replacement in Nunez may need time to bed in. I think they are weaker after losing Mane as Salah will certainly miss his most trusted attacking partner.

CHELSEA
They are in a rebuild in which they may find themselves struggling. Having lost key players like Christensen and Rudiger in their defense which has made them weaker, as they will need some time to groom their replacements into a formidable back line. They are still a strong side by all standards.

TOTTENHAM
Spurs are definitely improved with their new signings and the fact that they won't lose any of their key players. With the experience of Conte, it makes them even scarier. Richarlison has PL experience and would be a handful come off the bench. Bissouma also makes their first team stronger. Spurs hmmm!

ARSENAL
Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko definitely improves the first team. This will be critical for them as both players already have premier League experience in the best possible way. Arsenal like Tottenham will be the team to watch out for. With a much improved first team and squad depth, all will now depend on the quality of the leadership and tactical intelligence of their manager to determine if they can surpass last season's achievement and make top 4.

MAN UNITED
United have many off field issues affecting them. Their performances in recent seasons have made them a bit not attractive to top players unlike before. With a new manager and many new players it will take a little while for them to exact their influence in the league. There isn't much improvement in their team for one to be excited about. They will have to depend on the experience and tactical ingenuity of the new manager, Eric Ten Hag to have a say this season.

OTHERS
The likes of West Ham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Everton will as always push for an upset. Apart from Newcastle, there hasn't been much improvement in the others. They have spent big and will want to push into the European places, so we will be keeping an eye on what Eddie Howe will be doing with the new set of players he has now at his disposal.

The have forward/ midfield players in Zaha/ Edouard/ Eze/ Olise/ Guehi who are able to cover spaces quickly which is reflected in their ability to press effectively.
I also think Gallagher's influence for them last season was massive in the runs he makes from midfield. They will miss him. Ability to curtail whover will do that for them tomorrow will be very important for us.

Lets discuss their tactics, style, formation, players including new player acquired, best players, coaching and what to expect from them.

I'd like to read from everyone.
Last season they used high tempo to force their game on Arsenal especially during the first half. However, they soon got tired but it was already game over for us.

They will like to have a similar approach tomorrow, all Arsenal need to do is either use a higher tempo or completely kill the game with negative tactics.

Also, hold Zaha down.
