Children grow to become monsters of today society.
Give them all but they will still wreck all.
Build them up they will let you down.

If you haven't got kids already before dishing out this puke. It's people like you that start disturbing your neighbors with mid night prayers looking for kids and trying herbal mixtures.

Romance / Re: My Friend Proposed Drunk by Dronedude(m): 11:04pm On Aug 14
I hope this write up finds you well. I’ve been reflecting on the past, and I know that I owe you a heartfelt apology. I want to express my sincere regret for my past behavior and negligence towards you especially the way I ended our relationship and for the pain my actions must have caused you.

Leaving you was a deeply hurtful decision, and I understand how it might have felt like a betrayal. My actions were inconsiderate and lacked the love, respect and regard I had for you. I can only imagine the sadness you experienced, and for that, I am deeply and truly sorry.

You were an important part of my life, and the way I handled our separation was far from fair. I regret not being honest and straightforward about my feelings and intentions. My behavior was driven by my own shortcomings and insecurities, and I wish I had been more thoughtful and mature in dealing with our relationship.

it's not been easy in the past four years for me wondering and reviewing when and how I was going to do this. There was a huge vacuum of your absence in my heart bringing me always to regrets even up to this day but most especially that I never reached out to you in all this while to do what I have summoned the courage to do now. Although I lost every contact and connection with you I only got it back on subscribing on true caller.

While I am now where I am, I want you to know that I genuinely wish you all the best. You deserve happiness and fulfillment, and I pray and hope you have found both in your life since then.

Please understand that this message comes from a place of genuine remorse and respect for the past we shared. I hope that, in time, you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. God bless you and your family.

Romance / Re: Why MTN Nigeria Barring Lines by Dronedude(m): 1:20pm On Jul 29
TheBlueDiamond:

It's not guaranteed that OTP would be delivered to the mailbox inasmuch as the specific sim remains barred.

An active, completely working and unrestricted sim, filled into it's appropriate box, is the determining-factor for OTP to be delivered to the provided email address.

And, if peradventure the OTP gets delivered to the provided email address despite filling the box with the barred phone number, it's still not guaranteed that the line would be unblocked.

A visit to an MTN store, with the concomitant update of sim registration details and biometrics capture, is the only guarantee.

Why can't stup*d and id*otic MTN and NCC be digital for once, why refer everyone to MTN offices in this trying time to go for useless registration when that can be done online.

Politics / Re: Our Refinery Has Received Repeated Orders From Abroad — Dangote by Dronedude(m): 4:46pm On Jul 22
It's so unfortunate that this is happening to an investor who is also a Nigerian. Imagine Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, NMDPRA De marketing a fellow Nigerian just for selfish interest of importing the useless fuel the have been giving Nigerians.

If it were to be in a sane country the government would have sacked that DG or MD because of his highly insensitive comment. So this simply explains why our refineries are not working. Some jobless and lazy people are making sure it doesn't work so they can make money through importing substandard product and selling it at a standard cost or more. I read the sulphur content in Dangote's product is barely below 90 ppms while the usual imported product is above 2000 ppms. How did we get to this point where investing in your country is now a mistake and yet we are wooing foreign investors watching everything play out in UHD 8k? This also explains why companies are selling their assets here and leaving.

Even if Dangote has been enjoying monopoly in Nigeria the fact remains that he is Nigerian, his projects are in Nigeria employing Nigerians etc. All the government needs to do is to support his vision and put him on check on his deliverables to Nigerians.

Politics / Re: Bill To Create 74 Seats For Women In National Assembly Passes Second Reading by Dronedude(m): 12:11am On Jul 10
BoldBrainz:
Half of the comments here so far suggest that a lot of nairalanders either cannot read or have very low information processing capabilities.

The 74 seats to be created for women are not "new" seats. The Parliament is rather proposing to counterbalance the male quota in order to accommodate more women in our National politics. I don't like Tinubu and his administration but this bill is a step in the right direction.

It's time we gave women more opportunities and representation in our political environment.

It begins with interest, track record and persuasion to the constituents or zones to be elected. If you have a good track record and popularity like the few women in the chambers, why not, who will stop a woman from representing her people. The approach should be a sensitization or orientation process maybe backed with a reduced fee for electoral interest forms across all political parties. But then they can't impose on the electorates. People have the right to vote who will lead them.

Some of these guys I have always known are dumb.

How would you do that when the position is a well elected position. Will you say some constituency or zone will constantly designate their seat to women therefore preventing free and fair elections?

Our problem is really reliant on our so called leaders.

I should be seeing moves for the reduction of cost of governance and salaries of all arms of government, MDAs etc instead they are busy chasing a wild goose.
