You're a doctor,so it's not suprising you took sides.it's a fvcking lie.it's very easy for pharmacists to get a PP,the same can't be said for docs coz they're very many.That's a very blatant lie,I'm sure all docs viewing this are very aware of that fact.There are only 13 accredited school of pharmacy in Nigeria while every state has college of medicine including the private universities.it's very very easy for pharms to get placement for internship apparently because they aren't much,this can't be said for docs and I'm sure you know that.
I did my internship before IPPS started in FMC Abeokuta,then I was being paid 158K(8-4),my colleagues in national hospitals and neuropsychiatric hospital earn above that,after which I do go work as a local Pharm in a community pharmacy after d hospital day job,then my monthly pay was little close to 200k.
A pharmacy intern is on conhess 8 equivalent to Grade level 9,You may have to explain to me how a GL 9 earns a meagre amount
Why would one be crying for nysc to come when it's crystal clear you'll earn lesser compared to internship.
During my NTSC,it wasnt easy,The state maternity centre paid me 45K monthly(colleagues in industry earn well above that) in addition to d federal government's 19,800,I had to make my pay above 100k by working as a local Pharm in a community pharmacy.

If a hospital is recruiting 150HO,it equivalently recruits 75K Pharm interns and med lab interns.
Docs are very many,nearly all private unis have a partially accredited medicine programme which makes it difficult for placement.
Same can't be said for pharmacists.

Unlike a doc who's only limited to d hospital,a pharmacist can venture into pharmaceutical industries or retail pharmacy,he's free to pick from being a clinical,industrial,community or academic pharmacist.the same can't be said for a doctor apparently.(Acads and clinics)

A doctor isn't only restricted to the hospital
Some doctors are into public health and make big bucks without specialization per se
Ask doctors of WHO,UNICEF,SAVE THE CHILDREN,MSF and many more.
Some doctors are into academics- they lecture from anatomy to physiology,biochemistry,microbiology,PHARMACOLOGY public health etc all,they just have to have a masters in the field and they are allowed to become lecturers...they also make considerable bucks
There are specialties like orthopaedics, neurosurgery,even general surgery where you make 6 figures monthly or even weekly from procedures you do
Some doctors set up private hospitals and like any business there those making loads of bucks from it
Some doctors also move abroad and that's an entire world all together
Some go into research,some into sports medicine,some join the military and rise in rank,
Some do radiology and report X-rays for cool cash,some even own these centers making millions monthly
Some do invitro fertilization,........many other things to do
So apart from mainstream clinical practice which is also lucrative relatively
There are many other ventures a doctor can go into

After rigorous training you just becoming a marketer
