You don't have to intentionally derail someone's business and expect him to keep mute. The longer this drags on, the more damage is done to this thread and you, Drsuleman. Thousands of people visit Nairaland on daily bases, do not think you're not known unless you change your username, doing business with others here may not be so smooth as they themselves also read one another's thread.

Even when you have strong point, it should be laid professionally and in more civilized manner. If you aren't satisfied and there is no good explanation and assurances, quit instead of fighting dirty!

Is my wish that Bizbloke don't respond again concerning this issue. In doing so, he is helping derail his thread!

Whoever never followed up, will not be very confident in doing business with you. Is as bad as that!

It's just amazing how a few weeks ago, I almost commented on this Suleiman guy that with the kind of equipment he had I would begin to publicize his outfit free of charge for anyone in or around his state. Was all this fracas necessary? Or maybe he mistakenly overdosed on the chloroform used from one of his procedures and it led to all of these? Even if one wants to pay attention to your lousy explanations, If indeed you claim that the drug is ineffective in its final year of expiration and you even ordered it 3 months ago claiming it's expiring a few weeks from now, it means as at the time you ordered the drug, you knew it was ineffective and deliberately intended to harm your patients. What kind of disgrace are you to your kind? Walahi if I were you @bizbloke I would start a smear campaign online and make sure the people in his state get to see what their dentist is up to.

Now let me come to the point of where I know that this so called dentist or maybe dentist assistant is talking crap about formocresol, I remember a case where the commissioned medical officer ran out of formaldehyde or something like that to preserve the bodies of lost soldiers at the war front and all that was provided to him was formocresol from one of those aid agencies I can't recall now. He raised an observation of the expiry not being clear and I clearly remember the lady saying that it was a natural occurring preservative that ordinarily doesn't expire but she was certain he could still use it. So don't come here and try to make us look like fools, stand in that field alone!

Then again @bizbloke, I believe I always see you include the information that "packages would take certain number of weeks to get to you first based on their origin of shipment", it takes experience for people to know that you can wait for almost 6 weeks for a package to arrive to you from China, go on aliexpress and read the reviews of folks buying and see that it's usual to wait for 2months for a package! I have never shipped anything through you, but you've made a couple of payments for services on my behalf and I will give you kudos for going above and beyond for your clients and if you have a 95% performance, that is worthy of praise for a Nigerian and I would encourage you to continue in your good works and not get discouraged.

Bizbloke keep being robotic in your interaction please. That's the only way you would succeed with such people, that's how the western culture stick to their rules that they've developed over years of experience and it has helped them grow sustainable brands over centuries and on the converse because of compromise here and there in Nigeria, there is nothing that stands the test of time. You have given the dentist your terms and I would advice you stick to it and stop responding to any of his further attempts to derail your business.

Dr.. if you have noticed you'd see you are only moving in a cycle.. if it's something you can forego, just move on and let him be with it.. as you can see, he's either adamant to cooperate or he's not understanding you at all.. give him instructions to forward what is useful and pay him his does fully, be the bigger man and let him remain beneath you.. consider it as an operational loss, make a new order and carry on with your work.. be cautious and make instructions clearer on future transactions with him or someone else..

You deemed it wise to refund for the item that you claim it was delayed for 6 days due to circumstances beyond your control as you said. But you don't see reasons you should refund for the item you mismanaged for about 1 months and the freight you counceled on the 5th further delayed for about 2 wks and the China orders(that never came) that you said it would come with further delayed for about another 2wk? You have to Clap for yourself.

You also claim you offered me refund for it and I declined. Please, show where you offered me refund and I declined asap.

One of these items he claims to have been cleared is a medicinal product used in a particular surgical procedure for patients. This product has a short shelf life. If it is not used on time, it will expire and you can't use that kind of expired product on patients. The ordering of this particular item is exactly 2 months old today. This order should not have taken this long if not for the mismanagement of the order. He didn't follow it up not until when I reminded him of it.(if you want to see the page where I reminded him, I will copy it here for you to see). This product couldn't be freighted with 3 consecutive batches of freight. When it finally came, it was the only one. Sending only this item to Kebbi State will cost more money. But, since I have have other items coming via China freight within few days to its arrival. We concluded that it would be sent together with the China item. When I asked about the China items, he said they were being cleared. That was on the 13th of this month. Up till now, we don't know what is going on about those items (these are non contraband items o..they are packs of surgical instruments). Meanwhile, the already cleared item is getting expired already. It might have even expired. So, it is either this guy is being economical with the truth or something similar. So taking expired product does not make any sense because I can't use it on patients. It is not as if he can't return cleared goods, but returning expired item may not be acceptable by the seller. That's the point. So it's me that should be responsible for it? Of course no. As at this moment, this item is still with him.

AND when you are explaining things to this guy, he always believes he is right In every situations. He believes he is always perfect. He won't take his time to listen to you. If you want to see the page where I challenged him about mismanagement of the order(about a month ago), I will post it here.
Why would I want to tarnish his business?
What would be my gain I do?
I was one of the people giving him kudos not until when he started showing his true colour.

After agreeing to hold, you decide to cancel it, including an item still incoming from the USA. Then, you call us insensitive?

All these questions are rhetorical; it doesn't matter what you call us but it never works that way. Like we mentioned earlier, you're getting no refunds for either of those items. So, Dr Suleiman, do go ahead and call me names. Call us names. Freedom of speech.

like I said initially, your feelings is understandable. I had issues with someone who does similar business in Nairaland. I couldn't continue with him. Likewise, you can chose to seek the services of another, but you have to take the items already shipped and cleared in your name.

How do you expect your goods to be returned when its already in Nigeria. Do you know the cost of that. Im sure you dont. And according to bizbloke its obvious you are aware that your goods have been shipped right from the beginning yet you didnt ask for a cancelation why now. We saw a post where he refunded your money of some returned products which was still in his custody and dat was clearly seen by all. P.S: We're not issuing you a refund for an item you were informed that's already in Lagos, Nigeria and you didn't object to waiting for items from China to arrive to be merged with it.

P.P.S: And we're not issuing a refund for the item from the USA that will be available in Lagos, Nigeria tomorrow.

These two items, no refunds for them. You get the items and not refunds. Thursday noon, these items will be dispatched to Kebbi if you want us to dispatch them to you; if there's some other alternative you've got, we'll work with it too.

That we can approve and initiate a refund in a short time doesn't guarantee that you can file a claim for an item already on ground - which you had knowledge about and didn't object to keeping until items from another order arrives - or an item to be available tomorrow and we approve the refund. We won't do that.
