CelebritiesRe: Omotola or Rita Dominic - who is more beautiful? by Drusilla(f): 7:23pm On Jun 08, 2006
Omotola.

I have never seen either one of these people.

Has anyone looking at Rita, noticed that she is ugly? The white makeup she is wearing is too noticeable, her face skin does not match the rest of her.

It looks disqusting.

Reminds you of somebody laying dead in a funeral. You know how they always put too much make up the dead person to cover up the look of the dead body.

That's Rita, the walking dead look.
CelebritiesRe: Janet Jackson Vs Mary J Blige Who's Hiphop Queen? by Drusilla(f): 7:19pm On Jun 08, 2006
Ahh, Janet does not sing hip hop and she is not in hip hop category.

How could she possibly queen of a category, she has never once set foot in?

Janet Jackson is in pop category.
Music/RadioRe: Beyonce vs Shakira: Who Can Dance Better? by Drusilla(f): 7:16pm On Jun 08, 2006
Come now. Nobody is thinking about Shakira or Beyounce as dancers.

Everybody in America is trying to imitate the anonymous girl dancers from Jamaica in Sean Paul's Video "gimme the light".

See that video here: http://music.yahoo.com/ar-295912-videos--Sean-Paul

Choose the video: Gimme the Light, it is the girl in Yellow behind Sean Paul, that everybody has gone crazy for her dancing.

Every dance fad in Africa-America for the last 2 years has come from anonymous Jamaicans.

I can not think of the Jamaican males who brought forth the whole lean back, brush your shoulder off thing that is big right now.

If you want to consider just Shakira and Beyounce, then you must narrow the category to 'sexy dances' not real dances.
TravelRe: Why Can't Nigeria Be Like Ghana? by Drusilla(f): 2:14am On Jun 08, 2006
You could not in America claim to be an African, if you were born and raised in Africa for hundreds of years but you were white/European.

A few years ago, many whites from South Africa, arrived in America and attempted to say that they were African Americans. Of course African Americans raised such a stink about it, that charade ended quickly.

I think it is not just skin color but also history. How can one come into  your Nigerian house, rape your wife, steal your money, slaughter and enslave your children?

Then a few years later, they will be rewarded with the status of being a REAL NIGERIAN, meanwhile the children they sold to people in a far away place, are told they got nothing to do with Nigeria or Africa?

History matters.

In Brazil, Cuba, and some small parts of America, there are still native Yoruba speakers. Are they not Nigerians because they were sent out of Nigeria by Medube or someone like his parents?

Meanwhile those who did the damage and are responsible for there being Yoruba speakers in the America's and sent those 'Nigerians' to America, can have their children be called African and Nigerian?

The idea that the people who came in and raped Africa, could now claim to be Africans is generally considered an abomination to African Americans and the 400 million Diasporans.
